Natural Gas Services Group, Inc. (NGSG) is seeking experienced Pipe/Vessel Welders to join our fabrication team in Catoosa, Oklahoma. This role is responsible for fitting and welding piping and pressure vessels used in natural gas compression, ensuring high-quality welds, and supporting a safe, efficient, and organized fabrication environment. Location: Onsite in Catoosa, OK. Relocation assistance not provided. Requirements Key Responsibilities Fit pipe sizes 1 ½” thru 12” Fit, align, and secure components using appropriate measuring tools and fixtures to achieve accurate, high-quality welds. Prepare materials for welding, including cutting, grinding, beveling, and cleaning surfaces. Safely operate and maintain welding equipment, hand tools, power tools, and material-handling equipment such as forklifts and hoists. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with company policies and OSHA requirements. Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to support production schedules and timely project completion. Follow all company safety procedures, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and participation in safety meetings and training. Minimum Qualifications Experience: At least 3 years of experience fitting piping and vessels for natural gas compressors Technical Skills: Ability to pass a 6G MIG/FCAW welding test (welding tests must be scheduled). Proficient in welding processes such as SMAW, GTAW, and FCAW. Able to read and interpret blueprints, welding symbols, and specifications. Skilled in surface preparation, measuring, fitting, and aligning components for precise welds. Experience using hand tools, power tools, and material-handling equipment (e.g., forklifts, hoists). Safety & Compliance: Working knowledge of safety procedures, proper PPE use, and compliance with OSHA and company safety policies. Other Requirements: Reliable daily transportation to the Catoosa, Oklahoma facility (relocation assistance is not provided). Physical Demands & Work Environment The Pipe/Vessel Welder role is performed in a fabrication shop and requires the ability to perform the essential functions of the job with or without reasonable accommodation, including: Standing, walking, bending, stooping, kneeling, crouching, and working on elevated surfaces for extended periods (up to 10 hours per shift). The Leak Detection and Repair (LDAR) Technician supports the Emissions Program Team with a focus of ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations applicable to the upstream oil and gas industry and optimizing facilities and operations to minimize emissions and maximize productivity. This position is tasked with delivering field support of LDAR projects, including but not limited to conducting Optical Gas Imaging (OGI)/Method 22/Audio Visual Olfactory (AVO) inspections, LDAR recordkeeping, and servicing on-site equipment. Duties and Responsibilities Schedule and conduct Optical Gas Imaging (OGI), Method 22, and Audio Visual Olfactory (AVO) inspections in accordance with EPA 40 CFR Subpart OOOOa/b/c. Perform routine repairs on upstream oil and gas equipment. Capture accurate and timely inspection data via internal software applications for agency reporting. Generate maintenance work orders and track repairs. Travel to remote oil and gas production sites/facilities. Other duties as assigned. Summary: This position will apply corrosion knowledge and skills to repair, install, troubleshoot, analyze, and perform other predictive and preventative maintenance tasks on assigned equipment, facilities, systems and associated devices contained within gas and liquid facilities and pipelines. WHAT YOU'LL DO: * Complete assigned jobs and tasks within Caterpillar Equipment Repair Labor Guidelines (ERLG) without sacrificing quality and/or safety. * Work safely and follow all WCAT safety policies and procedures. * Complete related paperwork and access databases required to complete job (work order, parts order, JSA, DBS, SIMS, SIS web, STW) accurately and timely. * Follow contamination control and HAZMAT rules and regulations. * Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, clean and inspect assemblies with minimal supervision. * Understand and apply Cat reusability guidelines. * Submit parts and core returns in a timely manner with appropriate documentation. * Perform warranty downloads of ECM. * Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments. * Apply general failure analysis and procedures to determine proper diagnosis * Complete all Level I & Level II assigned training in a timely and proficient manner * Able to mentor Rental team members. The Phased Array Ultrasonic Testing (PAUT) is responsible for performing PAUT testing techniques and methods on products and materials for flaws and imperfections, documenting, and making recommendations for repairs on these products and materials. Execute PAUT testing using the procedures and methods to determine the maximum quality of the product Inspect products/materials for defects, corrosion, or detrimental conditions in accordance with specific criteria Current level II PAUT certification with 2 years' experience, both weld quality and corrosion scans is preferred. Organize and generate reports pertaining to inspection and evaluation Prepare reports on all testing and evaluations completed Ensure the equipment used for testing is all functioning to its maximum ability and according to safety regulations. Recommend any and all needed repairs to equipment. Prioritize job orders in terms of cost and effectiveness. Qualifications Knowledge, skills and abilities High school diploma or equivalent UT Level II Certifications required PAUT Level II Certification preferred. Minimum of 2-5 years' NDT experience required Documentation skills are a plus Experience with Microsoft Word and Excel is a plus Physical requirements Employees will be required to sit, stand, walk, kneel and crouch. Employees will also use their hands and arms and view objects closely. Employees may be required to lift and/or move anywhere from 10 to 25 pounds and occasionally will help lift 50 pounds.
