Job Description AECOM has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Transportation Delivery Manager to join the Enterprise Capabilities Digital team at AECOM. This position offers the flexibility for a hybrid work arrangement to include a combination of in-office and remote work schedules and can be based from any location where AECOM has an office. Job Summary: The Transportation Digital Delivery Manager will be the primary technical contact for the delivery of major transport projects across Enterprise Capabilities (EC) Digital. This will include all Enterprise Critical Pursuits and Tier 2 projects that EC Digital take on. As AECOM moves to standardize how our largest projects are delivered, this role will take on various responsibilities, such as determining project delivery strategy for all transport projects through to development and implementation of technical processes and standards. The Transportation Digital Delivery Manager will be joined by other Global Business Line specific digital implementation leads that will form part of the wider Delivery Planning and Assurance team (DPA) in EC Digital. Key Responsibilities: * Determining the technology stack to be used to deliver projects, from the standardized Cornerstone tool sets * Determining project data standard requirements to be implemented on projects * Outlining the digital production processes to be used by project delivery teams * Working with Planning to identify suitable resources and outline project programs * Working with Assurance to proactively monitor projects during delivery, to ensure they continuously meet all quality metrics * Enabling EC Digital's Delivery Service and the wider organization to successfully adopt project execution standard * Collaborating with all other digital implementation leads and the wider DPA team to continuously improve our standardized delivery approach for major projects What We Are Looking For To be successful in this critical role, you will need to have significant experience of delivering large, complex transport projects. You will have a sound technical understanding of various technologies used to deliver such projects, as well as common delivery standards and processes. You will also be capable of acting a leader in this field, comfortable with simultaneously influencing project teams to take up the standardized project delivery approach whilst also influencing up the way to senior digital leadership in the organization. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Bachelor's Degree and 10+ years' experience working on delivery of large, complex transportation projects or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership 5 years working in a digital leadership role in a large engineering organization Thorough understanding of Industry-standard platforms (Autodesk, Bentley, GIS platforms). Thorough understanding of industry standard project delivery authoring technologies and their application to engineering design and/or construction. This role involves managing all phases of project delivery-from pre-project planning through close-out-while ensuring quality, safety, and profitability. *Key Responsibilities* *Pre-Project* * Review RFPs, plans, and specifications; validate contracts and work orders. * Build and maintain strong client relationships. *Start-Up* * Assess scope, schedule, and resources; develop mobilization and resource plans. * Coordinate materials, equipment, and labor with Operations. *Project Implementation* * Manage schedules, costs, subcontractors, and vendors. * Oversee installation activities and ensure compliance with quality standards. * Prepare change orders, track progress, and maintain profitability. * Represent the organization in client meetings and provide regular updates. *Close-Out* * Ensure efficient project close-out and client sign-off. * Support accounts receivable as needed. *Additional* * Mentor team members, promote Lean culture, and drive continuous improvement. * Travel as required for project needs. *What We're Looking For* * *Education:* High school diploma or GED required; Associate/Bachelor's preferred. * *Certifications:* PMP, BICSI RCDD/RTPM, OSHA 30 preferred. * *Experience:* * 5+ years in commercial/data center construction and project management. * Expertise in structured cabling (Cat5, Cat6, fiber), rack infrastructure, and large-scale builds. * Proven success managing $1M+ projects and GMP contracts. * *Skills:* Strong communication, leadership, and organizational abilities; proficiency in Microsoft Office; knowledge of BICSI standards and safety protocols. *Top Skills* * Installation & Termination (Cat5, Cat6, Fiber) * Low Voltage & Structured Cabling * Construction Project Management *Nice-to-Have Skills:* Telecommunications, Panduit/CommScope/Corning product experience. *What We Offer* * Competitive pay and benefits (health, dental, vision) * Paid time off and holidays * Relocation assistance * Career growth opportunities and BICSI-certified training * Inclusive and supportive work environment *Job Type & Location* This is a Permanent position based out of New Albany, OH. *Pay and Benefits*The pay range for this position is $110000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
