Dr. Calhoun is also a Professor in Electrical and Computer Engineering at the School of Engineering and Applied Sciences at the University of Virginia. Dr. Calhoun received his B.S. in electrical engineering from the University of Virginia and his M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from MIT, where he and Dr. Wentzloff first began their collaboration.

He received a B.S.E. degree in electrical engineering from the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, and M.S. and Ph.D. degrees in electrical engineering from MIT, where he and Dr. Calhoun first began their collaboration. Since August 2007, he has been on the faculty at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor, where he is currently an Associate Professor of Electrical Engineering and Computer Science.
