Assist in assembly and delivery of furniture and other duties as assigned

Ability to convey information and/or instruction to internal/external customers through spoken expression.

Delivery Driver Requirements:
1. Positive Attitude: Approach all tasks and challenges with a can-do attitude, ensuring a positive work environment and customer interactions.

Responsible for sourcing and managing the department's inventory and supplies necessary to support warehouse operations and district/department needs., ordering and supplying necessary items so that the district is kept in a condition of operating readiness.
Major Duties and Responsibilities:
* Maintain an inventory system for new, surplus and attic stock stored in warehouse locations and assist with replenishment planning
* Maintain proper inventory levels and accurate records for warehouse items.
* Identify slow-moving, obsolete or discontinued items and recommend adjustments to ordering practices.
* Monitor and manage open purchase orders with district vendors.
* Coordinate with warehouse team to verify received goods, resolve order discrepancies and ensure accurate documentation
* Obtain competitive quotes for materials, equipment and supplies in support of requisition requests and work orders.
* Maintain accurate records and documentation of all procurements for audits.
* Assist Supervisors with special parts procurement.
* Maintain positive working relationships with vendors, ensuring clear communication regarding orders, lead times, pricing and service expectations.
* Oversee equipment and or tool checkout for items under warehouse responsibility.
* Maintain fuel supply for Central Maintenance facility by monitoring and ordering from transportation.
* Operate forklift when necessary.
* Work closely with internal departments, cross-functional teams and leadership to understand purchasing needs and expectations.
* Contribute to process improvements that enhance efficiency, accuracy and customer service.
* Perform other duties as assigned.

Truck, truck and trailer combination, tailgate lift, forklift, ladders, computer, copier, inventory scanner,

Maintain emotional control under stress. Be capable of working in outdoor conditions. Continual walking, standing, climbing, stooping, bending, kneeling, reaching, and heavy lifting and carrying.
