    Family Access Center is seeking a Full-Time Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our team within a fast-paced, high-volume organization in our Sioux City office. $4500 sign-on bonus paid out in three payments within the first three months of employment. This position is Monday through Friday and requires the ability to work two evenings per week until 8 pm. Ability to earn an additional $1500 monthly based on productivity after 90 days. Requirements: Master's Degree in Counseling or Social Work, licensed in the State of Iowa (LMHC, LISW or LMSW--temporary licensure accepted), valid driver's license, and vehicle insurance. Job Responsibilities: Provide individual, family, and couples mental health therapy. Serve children, adolescents, and adult clients. Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments, treatment planning, and client discharges. Coordinate services with referral sources and other professionals. Develop and maintain confidential client records. Crisis response as needed. Participate and assist in program development and implementation throughout the organization. Attend all-staff meetings, weekly clinical meetings, and individual case supervision. Attend training sessions. Build rapport and positive working relationships with clients and staff. Proficient in completing timely electronic documentation. Ability to navigate computers and essential computer programs used in the organization. Punctuality and time management skills are imperative. Qualifications: Applicant must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Excellent time management skills, and ability to work independently. Knowledge of community resources and service providers in the service area. Flexibility and willingness to work days/evenings and be available for crisis intervention. This position is full-time Monday through Friday and requires the ability to work days and some evenings until 8 pm.     Responsibilities The Therapist for ACT provides counseling, therapy, and support services to ACT clients within the community. They work collaboratively with clients to address mental health issues, emotional challenges, and behavioral concerns, aiming to improve overall well-being and functioning. Additional responsibilities include: * Coordinate and provide follow-up contact with clients (ACT services are provided in office, community, and client homes) as needed. * Complete individual case notes within 48 hours of each contact into client's electronic health records (EHR). * Assist with developing and maintaining working relationships with other mental health practitioners, law enforcement officers, hospital personnel, family members, and other interested parties. * Participate in case consultation and function as an effective team member and represent the agency in a professional manner. * Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, strengths, and challenges. * Use diagnostic tools and techniques to identify mental health disorders and develop treatment plans accordingly. * Collaborate with clients to establish realistic objectives and strategies for addressing mental health concerns. * Develop personalized treatment plans based on clients' unique needs, preferences, and goals. * Implement interventions to help clients manage symptoms, regulate emotions, and develop coping skills. * Other duties as assigned. Requirements Education: * Master's Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health counseling or related field Experience: * Experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness. * Clinical experience providing mental health services, preferably in a community-based or outpatient setting. Knowledge/Skills: * Strong assessment, diagnostic, and treatment planning skills. * Proficiency in delivering various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral based therapy, dialectical behavior therapy, or motivational interviewing. * Excellent communication, interpersonal, and collaboration skills. * Knowledge of ethical and legal standards governing mental health practice. * Flexibility to adapt to changing caseloads, client needs, and organizational priorities. * Commitment to cultural competence, diversity, and inclusion in service delivery. Licenses/Certifications: * Licensed as a Mental Health Counselor or Marital and Family Therapist pursuant to 645-Chapter 31 (LMHC) or Licensed as a Master or Independent Social Worker pursuant to 645-Chapter 280 (LMSW, LISW). * Must hold a valid driver's license and have access to reliable, insured transportation.
