Essential Functions and Job Duties Provide skill-based interventions for individuals focused on reducing behavioral health challenges by teaching skills such as conflict resolution, problem solving, coping, impulse control, and relationship building. Teach skills in an individual, family and/or group setting. Work with the clients from a wide range of cultural, racial, and ethnic groups. Collaborate with assessing clinician regarding individual needs, strengths, and family functioning. Monitor potential child and family risk factors to assure family's service needs are met. Respond to crisis as needed. Connect families to community resources and services to reduce recurring child abuse and neglect. Use evidenced based practices to work with families. Schedule continued service reviews or annual assessments with assessing clinician. complete required documentation, progress reports and discharge summaries within the allotted time frames. Adhere to mandatory reporter, confidentiality, and social work ethics. Yearly mandated training. Set-up and maintain files on computer systems to ensure case documentations. Collaborate with other professionals by attend staff meetings and individual supervision meetings or other assigned duties as requested. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Applicant must possess strong written and verbal communication skills. Time management skills. Ability to work independently.
