Troubleshooting & Maintenance Perform advanced troubleshooting, diagnostics, and repairs on mechanical systems (pumps, motors, conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, etc.). Align, test, and calibrate mechanical systems after installation or repair. Interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals to support repair and installation activities. Recommend improvements to equipment reliability, efficiency, and safety. Documentation & Operational Support Create and update engineering and operations documentation. Manage spare part identification, storage, and inventory across a two-plant footprint. Support and conduct training for operations teams on equipment changes or new installations. Maintain safe working practices and proactively identify potential hazards. Required Qualifications Education Associate Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related technical field. Experience Minimum 3+ years of experience in new equipment installations within a manufacturing environment. Experience in fast-paced environments with shifting priorities. Startup or commissioning experience is highly desirable. Technical Skills Strong mechanical fundamentals in hydraulics, pneumatics, bearings, gear systems, and conveyor systems. Proficiency in troubleshooting mechanical equipment using diagnostic tools. Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics, and blueprints. Skilled in the use of hand tools, power tools, and precision measuring equipment. Basic understanding of CMMS systems. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite.

    Maintenance Supervisor Automated Conveyor Systems, Inc. (ACSI) is an employee owned, successful and growing conveyor manufacturer with opportunities for those who have an interest in a manufacturing environment. We sell, design, fabricate and assemble material handling systems for customers all across the U.S. and we're currently seeking a full-time Maintenance Supervisor in our facility in West Memphis, AR, just across the bridge from Memphis, TN. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. (Other duties may be assigned.) - Manages the activities of all employees in the maintenance department and is responsible for the hiring and performance of said employees in that department. - Maintenance department includes: Grounds keeping, facility maintenance, production equipment maintenance, new equipment installations and updates, tool & die, CMMS data records. - Should have working knowledge and experience troubleshooting and repairing Electrical, Mechanical, Hydraulic and Pneumatic systems. - Perform, delegate, instruct and oversee repairs and maintenance. - Coordinate with outside contractors when needed. - Experience with Control Systems including PLCs and ability to program. - Assist Facilities Project Manager with “Special in-house” projects that need control systems, fabrication, assembly and installation. - Oversee and make sure all work is to code and is done with acceptable workmanship. - Work with production schedule to coordinate PMs. - Design and procure components and Program PLCs for customers' conveyor systems, as needed. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: - To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/ or ability required. EDUCATION and/ or EXPERIENCE: - Technical training through Technical School or Apprenticeship with emphasis in Electrical; - 5-10 years experience in Machine Maintenance plus two or more years of management experience or equivalent combination of education and experience. LANGUAGE SKILLS: - Ability to read, analyze and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals and technical manuals and procedures. - Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, clients and customers. MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: - Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as algebra, trigonometry and geometry and apply these concepts in problem solving situations relating to the design of material handling equipment. REASONING ABILITY: - Ability to solve problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. - Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, ladder logic or schedule form.
