About the Role:
As a Field Service Technician, you will play a key role in supporting law enforcement by providing hands-on service and installation of Kustom Signals' advanced traffic enforcement and video systems. You'll travel to customer sites to diagnose, repair, calibrate, and maintain a wide range of electronic equipment-ensuring peak performance in the field. This position also includes opportunities to educate users through on-site product training.

What You'll Do:
Install Kustom Signals equipment in customer vehicles
Troubleshoot and repair product systems in the field
Perform speed recertification and calibrate instruments to meet performance standards
Deliver technical support and customer training onsite
Maintain detailed service records and support documentation
Adapt installation procedures to accommodate different vehicle types and customer needs
Travel extensively to service locations and maintain a high level of independence and professionalism
Support product improvement efforts by generating customer feedback and service data
Assist with inventory management, expense reports, and related administrative tasks

Qualifications
Skills:
Strong knowledge of circuit boards, processors, chips, and electronic systems
Proficient with PC architecture, hardware, and peripheral troubleshooting
Familiar with test equipment such as oscilloscopes, power meters, and signal generators
Effective communication skills for customer and team interaction
Analytical thinking with excellent diagnostic abilities
Able to read and interpret technical documents and schematics
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently

The Job at a Glance
As an Inside Service Technician (also known as a Tech Wizard), you will directly communicate with end users and field technicians to provide technical support over the phone and/or via email to assist in repairs on warranty and non-warranty hot side foodservice equipment! After completing the onboarding process, you will also have an opportunity to earn all Commercial Food Service Equipment Service Association (CFESA) certifications.
A Typical Day
Provide exceptional customer service, effectively communicating equipment information and troubleshooting solutions in a friendly and professional manner
Provide technical support to end users and field technicians over the phone and/or via email (30+ cases per day)
Utilize equipment manuals, wiring diagrams, and parts listings to diagnose and resolve equipment issues
Maintain all customer call information into a company database to better assist future inquiries
Work closely with manufacturers to recommend engineering changes and document equipment/component failure rates

JOB PURPOSE
The IT Budget Controller is responsible for planning, forecasting and tracking the IT budget and manpower. They will analyze monthly results, report variances, identify trends and recommend action to Department and Division leadership teams.
KEY ACCOUNTABILITIES
* Responsible for managing the Division's budget to meet target objectives. This includes aligning and allocating expenses, analyzing budget gaps, proposing countermeasures, and coordinating all budget reporting activities within the Division.
* Develop and summarize monthly, quarterly & annual manpower and expense reporting. Create ad-hoc reports and present the overall financial position to Division leadership team.
* Assist in maintaining and tracking Honda Appropriation Requests. Ensure adherence to the approval process and uphold governance standards for investments and expenses within the Division.

QUALIFICATIONS

Job Summary:
The Critical Power Level 4 Technician is an expert in the critical power industry and has extensive experience with telecommunications, utility and/or UPS power systems. This is a leadership position that will supervise and train less experienced technicians. A level 4 technician should be able to design custom power solutions and provide turnkey installations. Due to the energized electrical equipment (hot) work requirement of this position, safety must be of the highest importance. Perform calibration, adjustment, and basic repair of precision test equipment, with a focus on mechanical and dimensional measuring instruments. Q-Lab Corporation is currently seeking a Field Repair Technician. If you are passionate about customer service, Q-Lab Corporation has an opportunity to take your technical skills to the next level! You will have the opportunity to service and repair lab instruments for a diverse customer base all over North America!
While this position requires frequent travel, we do require this candidate to reside within 60 miles of Westlake, OH.
Other remote opportunities are available in the Southeast (NC, SC, GA) and applicants must reside near a major airport. Preferred locations include Atlanta, Charlotte, and Raleigh/Durham.
Responsibilities:
Troubleshoot malfunctioning lab instruments or test equipment and test mechanical mechanisms and electronic circuitry for “root cause” failures.
Perform hands-on repair for malfunctioning lab instruments or test equipment, and tests assembly for conformance, in accordance to manufacturer's specifications.
Willing and able to travel domestically and internationally travel, 50% of the time annually, to provide repair support to our direct market customers. This will include being away for up to a full week at a time as and when required.
Provide customers with phone and email recommendations to resolve lab instrument issues and or follow up with on-going issues with the customer. This may include, but is not limited to: sending replacement parts, referring the information to the main home office for further guidance, or performing an on-site resolution.
Required Skills:
Recognized Electrical or Mechanical Qualification with apprenticeship and 5 years work experience
Work experience with technical equipment, preferably in a laboratory setting
Competent to read and interpret documents, instructions and manuals
Diplomacy and tact in reporting NCE (non-conforming events) to management - with urgency
Highly proficient computer skills and typing - Windows environment and Microsoft applications and relevant CRM systems
Domestic and International travel experience and ability
Clean driving record

CMM Technician (Night Shift)

Will be responsible for the inspection of production and prototype hardware and manufacturing components using a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM). Will be cross trained to calibrate, maintain and troubleshoot the CMMs. Job Function: Primary job function will be to operate the CMM Machine as well as troubleshoot, maintain and calibrate the systems. May also require cross training in other inspection areas.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Utilize CMM to inspect complex parts to engineering requirements
* Select and load appropriate programs into the machine for inspection
* Initiate and monitor programs; operate CMM computers and equipment
* Perform and certify inspections in accordance with technical documentation
* Provides the necessary data to the machine operators to reduce the defect rate
* Maintain equipment, including but not limited to machine calibration, cleaning and daily maintenance
* Troubleshoot issues that may arise on CMMs throughout the shop
* Assist the Supervisor/Manager, as needed, with various audits and compliance projects
* Inform supervisor or management when concerns with quality issues arise
* Adhere to AS9100 and other quality standards
* Perform miscellaneous duties and projects as assigned and required
Requirements:
