Skills: * Experience troubleshooting Hardware and Software * Understand thermal measurement methodologies, e.g. thermocouple placement, acquiring readings using automated data acquisition, thermocouple rework * Has a previous track record of conducting tests - with the ability to summarize data
* Basic machine shop experience and use of hand tools (Dremel tools, hand drills, files, metal sheer, basic soldering skills etc.)
* Experience with Terminal and a Unix command line environment
* Elementary coding/scripting experience (Unix Shell or Python), and software troubleshooting and debugging skills, and Labview Experience is a plus but nice to have
Responsibilities:
* Setup, deployment, and maintenance of test devices and fixtures for use in testing in different controlled environments from 10C to 55C.
* Building models, disassembling, modifying and reassembling systems
* Working with cross-functional teams to run software-hardware test plans and procedures
* Creating test reports and summaries
* Development and implementation of thermal test methods based on feedback from the design team
* Thermal lab management including: organization of lab space and equipment
* Handling of prototype hardware; adherence to protocols regarding handling of sensitive units

* Develop Test specifications based on various requirement documents within schedule constraints and prepare traceability for the test cases

* Participate in project meetings to provide feedback and statistics of the project in relation to the test quality.
* Demonstrate teamwork and collaborative efforts always
* Conduct reviews and inspections of project/testing deliverables
* Verify test Environments, perform sanity health check on daily basis and report issues before commencing testing for the day.
* Set up necessary monitoring / profiling tools to identify and isolate performance bottlenecks.
* Contribute to accurately estimate work requirements and to devise test execution plan
* Log software product defects and track it to closure
