The Applied Investments Program (AIP):
UW-Whitewater's Applied Investment Program (AIP) gives students the opportunity to gain real-world investment experience by managing an investment portfolio worth more than $1 million. AIP offers training on Bloomberg terminals, the most dominant investment platform used by investment professionals. Students in the AIP will develop analytical skills and critical thinking while learning to be a professional. They'll have the opportunity to learn how to write professional-quality reports, how to present their ideas effectively, and how to function in a professional environment. AIP acts as an honors program for finance majors in the university's College of Business and Economics, Wisconsin's largest business school.
Our student-managed investment fund (SMIF) is invested in core, large-cap equity style. Students are required to propose investments in the fund across the gamut of growth and value stocks to expose them to successful analytical techniques in a range of styles. Department:
The Finance and Business Law Department is one of the seven departments in the College of Business and Economics. There are 17 full-time faculty and staff members supporting nearly 800 undergraduate (with majors, minors, and emphases in general Finance, investments, financial planning, real estate, insurance, banking, fintech, and business law) and graduate students enrolled in the Master of Science in Finance and Master of Business Administration programs. The Department also hosts three student organizations: the FMA, the Capital Markets Club, and the Real Estate Club.
The College of Business and Economics at the University of Wisconsin-Whitewater is the largest AACSB-accredited business school in the state of Wisconsin. The College enrolls approximately 3,800 business undergraduate students and offers 15 majors and 26 emphases. Compensation:

Required Qualifications:

Position Summary:
The Electronic Banking Specialist is responsible for providing accurate and timely processing of assigned tasks and ensuring that exceptional support is provided for all electronic products and services.
Primary Responsibilities:
* Perform daily operations as assigned to ensure accurate and timely processing and verification of transactions and support.
* Responsible for the timely handling of debit card disputes, tracking as required by Regulation E and customer notification of provisional and final credits.
* Possess required knowledge of Regulation E and NACHA rules relating to unauthorized transactions.
* Oversight of submission of card batches for centrally issued cards.
* Coordinate and participate in the monthly card renewal process including review of reports and clearing of exceptions.
* Responsible for the accurate settlement of all debit card transactions utilizing various vendor reports, to include researching and promptly resolving any offages.
* Handle all compromised card notifications from MasterCard immediately to include bank-wide communication as applicable and customer notification of event..
* Complete and submit quarterly MasterCard reporting as required.
* Provide support for Online & Mobile Banking, Bill Pay, Cash Management,
Positive Pay, and Mobile Deposit products and services researching and resolving escalated issues.
* Support processing of new Business Online Banking Applications (i.e., system setup, ancillary service setup, customer notification, and filing).
* Process, verify, and log incoming and outgoing wires according to policy including OFAC scans and escalation of OFAC hits.
* Review and verification of mobile deposits releasing or rejecting reviewed items according to procedure.
* Process incoming and outgoing ACH files according to NACHA Operating Rules including OFAC scans, memo posting, and review of applicable reports.
* Input of One Time ACHs as well as maintenance of ACH auto transfer entries andsystem generated ACH entries as needed.
* Process ACH reclamations, ACH Notifications of Change (NOCs), ACH Returns, and Death Notifications.
* Provide backup to other Deposit Shared Services departments as needed.
* Assist with the development and implementation of necessary training and operational support programs as identified.
* Assist with projects as assigned.
* Assist with gathering and reviewing related audit documentation, copies and reports as requested.
* Participate in team tasks, including but not limited to: verifying outgoing wires and ACH files, alternating schedules to support extended banking hours, and assisting in answering phone calls and emails.
* Identify and update all associated job aids when changes in process or policy occur and communicating these changes to the team.
* Maintain strict confidentiality of all customer records and personal information.
* Perform other such duties as assigned.

The base salary indicated for this position reflects the compensation range applicable to all levels of the role across the United States. Key Accountabilities
Assists with Loan Process
Collaborates with RMs in contacting clients to gather items needed to prepare a complete application for submission (financials, purchase agreements, invoices, etc.).
Prepares loan requests utilizing required forms or the Commercial Online Application (CML) software. Submits applications to the Loan Fulfillment team for further input and processing.
Reviews and manages open applications in LOS for assigned RMs.
During the underwriting and pre-closing phase, collaborates with Underwriting teams and Loan Fulfillment to obtain any missing client information (financials, entity documentation, signers, etc.).
Coordinates loan closings and attends loan closings to perform Notary services if necessary
Submits closed loan packet to Loan Fulfillment for funding and booking.
Assists with Portfolio and Credit Administration
Utilizes the Power BI software to provide assigned RMs with pipeline, portfolio, production and credit information.
Tracks upcoming loan maturities and contacts clients to request financial information as needed.
Assists in clearing past due financials, post-closing exceptions, and trailing documents.
Assists with Depository Process
Opens commercial depository accounts for assigned RMs and acts as a liaison with Treasury Management, Private Banking, and the Community Banking team to facilitate the depository process.
Acts as a point person in resolving client depository issues with Client Care and Treasury Management Services.
Assists with Sales Support and Administrative Needs
Conducts research and organizes outreach for business development activities.
Assists and supports assigned RMs with daily activities including calendar management, incoming calls from clients, and client mailings.

Qualifications and Education Requirements
Associate degree in administrative services/business or equivalent experience required.
Minimum 4 + years of administrative and/or banking experience preferred; 2+ experience working with commercial processes.
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel.
Focus on providing excellent service to RMs, Clients and Bank Partners.
Effective written and verbal communication skills in working with RMs, Clients and Bank Partners.
Ability to communicate with clients and key decision makers effectively and independently.

Commercial Banking Specialist roles may vary - this position may be filled at a different level depending on the candidate's qualifications and relevant experience. Factors may include but are not limited to:
Number of years of progressive or multi-faceted support experience within Commercial, Wealth or Community verticals at a Bank (or other prior financial institution or related industry)
Depth and breadth in successful experience with providing high quality customer service by responding to telephone and email inquiries, other requests and resolving problems for both internal bank partners and/or external Commercial and/or Wealth or Community Bank clients
Excels and demonstrates effective time management skills to maximize the number of clients that can be assisted while maintaining a high level of customer service
Possesses thorough working knowledge of concepts, practices, policies and procedures of ONB banking products and services (or other prior financial institution or related industry)
Utilizes and relies on demonstrated knowledge and/or proficiency products, services, rates, terms, fees, applicable regulations and systems and procedures
Effectively ensures that each ONB client or internal partner has appropriate support focused on gaining customer longevity which is demonstrated by consistently going above and beyond to keep our clients at the center
Confidence and proven success in making decisions/resolving (complex or unique) situations as matters may be escalated
Aptitude or ability to assist in the training (and/or mentoring, coaching, or development) of new or existing team members within and outside of Client Services Commercial
