Implement clinical interventions in individual and group sessions that effectively treat behavioral health disorders and promote patient recovery. Ability to complete timely clinical documentation in compliance with agency and regulatory requirements. Contribute positively to the clinical team and the overall establishment of a productive work environment. Actively engage in learning opportunities to continuously enhance professional skills. What You Will Need: Therapists rendering mental health services are required to have a Bachelor's Degree in Social Work or a Master's degree in Counseling or Social work and hold an active, LPC or LSW license through the Ohio Counselor, Social Worker and Marriage and Family Therapist (CSWMFT) Board. Therapists rendering substance use services are required to have an associate's degree in Behavioral Science or a Bachelor's Degree in a related field and hold an active, LCDC-II or LCDC-III license through the Ohio Chemical Dependency Professionals Board Therapists are required to maintain professional licenses through compliance with rules set forth by the licensing Boards including, but not limited to, completion of CEs necessary to maintain licensure and completion of license renewal applications. Collaborates with team members to cover tasks as needed and to coordinate use of paid time off in a manner that ensures there is sufficient coverage for the unit. Provides education and advocacy when needed to promote awareness of behavioral health issues and decrease stigma. Interfaces with referral sources as needed. Actively participates in and promotes patient satisfaction, safety initiatives, and quality measures. Regularly demonstrates the ability to serve patients of all ages and of all cultural backgrounds in the routine performance of duties. Flexible schedule that includes the ability to serve in a rotation with other therapists for weekend and holiday coverage as needed. Ability to competently utilize IPBH and OPBH medical records as appropriate to role. What You Will Need: Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work or related degree is required. Therapists are required to hold active and unencumbered counselor or social work license under the Ohio CSWMFT Board. Heart Saver and First Aid certification within 6 months of hire. Computer skills sufficient to learn and utilize the electronic medical record are a mandatory requirement for all direct service staff and supervisory staff. Must possess a valid State of Ohio motor vehicle operator's license and be insurable under Firelands' auto policy. Employee must provide proof of personal automobile liability insurance coverage upon request. Sensitive to the cultural needs of the individual and/or family served.
