OVERVIEW AND REPORTING RELATIONSHIP
Under moderate to heavy supervision, this position exercises latitude for independent action and discretion to coordinate, write and manage request for proposal projects of low complexity from initiation to delivery. This position also completes proposal tasks on projects of moderate to high complexity managed by a proposal manager. Proposal projects typically have a focus on a specific product or program line.
This position resides in a Company location and provides centralized support to geographically diverse locations. The Opportunity
Summary/Objective: Prepares proposals, qualifications packages, and marketing materials to help win new business and support project pursuits throughout the firm. Produces graphics and other content that support the firm's short- and long-term initiatives and maintain brand standards. Helps streamline marketing processes, contributes to internal and external communications, and may mentor less experienced team members.
More specifically, you'll:
Conduct full life cycle of proposal research, development, organization and production with minimal supervision for increasingly complex projects
Research and gather materials and information to prepare proposal drafts for review
Collaborate with subject matter experts to understand the technical aspects of a project/proposal
Produce a wide variety of content to support the company's branding, recruitment, and internal and external communications objectives
Participate in the development of communications strategies to bring awareness and visibility to the company's brand
Contribute to the evolution of brand voice and guidelines, providing input on industry-relevant market research and trends
Represent the company at trade shows, career fairs, and other industry events and activities
Collaborate with other marketing staff to produce and maintain staff bios/resumes, project documentation, technical accomplishments, etc.

Education/Experience
Bachelor's degree in communication, marketing, writing, or similar
4+ years of experience with at least 2 years working in the A/E/C industry
Business Development experience preferred

Demonstrates ability to successfully engage and build trust with professionals in a multi-disciplinary environment
Conveys information through effective and timely verbal and written communication
Demonstrated proficiency in technical writing and production of proposals, prequalification packages, brochures and presentations
Strong candidates will have demonstrated experience in the utilization of AI, including how to build and train AI Agents
Strong organization skills with the ability to prioritize work effectively under multiple competing deadlines
Works independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
Proficient use of Office 365 products required
Proficient using Adobe Creative Suite, including InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop
Strong graphic design and technical writing skills
Exercises sound judgement
Performs assignments of increased difficulty as proficiency increases
Good public speaking and presentation skills
Ability to uphold workplace safety and follow TERRA's health & safety protocols
