The Rail Craft Kitchen & Bar in Strongsville, OH is looking for incredible people to help with our to go business. You will be responsible for ringing in call in orders, bagging and confirming all online orders and ensuring they are picked up correctly.
You, along with others working to go attendants on shift with you will receive all tips from to go orders. We are looking for people who:

Ensure all cleaning is done to the highest of expectations at the end of each shift, including breaking down and cleaning all equipment, removal of dirty dishes, taking out the trash, mopping, and any other tasks requested by your supervisor or MOD.
Use of production charts, usage records, temperature logs, and any other related documentation to ensure the safe and efficient operation of the Bistro and Market.

It is required for a Server to have strong customer service presentation

About the Role

What We're Looking For
Must be at least 15 years of age or older.
No previous work experience is required.
Must be able to communicate effectively in English with residents, guests, and employees.
Ability to secure required food handler permits as required by local ordinances within two (2) weeks of hire.
Key Responsibilities
Enhance the dining experience by assisting residents in Casual Dining by carrying trays, offering beverages, and proactively meeting service needs.
Create memorable moments in Fine Dining by warmly greeting tables, guiding residents through menu selections, accurately taking orders, and serving a full range of courses, from beverages to desserts.
Keep the dining room looking its best by clearing and resetting tables, carefully handling dishes, filling and refilling water carafes, and setting tables before meals.
Help keep things clean and organized by vacuuming carpets, cleaning the salad bar, and completing other cleaning tasks as needed.
Deliver room service meals and pick up trays with a friendly, positive attitude.
Listen and respond kindly to resident comments or concerns and share feedback with a manager or supervisor when needed.
Jump in and help where needed by completing support work and other tasks assigned by supervisors or managers.

What You'll Do
Keep all kitchen equipment and prep/serving areas clean and organized.
Plan and follow a cooking schedule to ensure meals are ready on time.
Maintain food quality and safety by regularly checking temperatures and tasting dishes.
Set up food on steam tables and restock as needed during service.

What We're Looking For
1-2 years of experience in a restaurant or institutional kitchen setting.
Strong communication skills - comfortable interacting with coworkers, residents, and family members.
Ability to respond professionally to questions or concerns from both inside and outside the organization.
Basic proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook).
Solid math skills to handle measurements, portioning, and basic calculations.
