Summary:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
While standing, make eye contact and greet guests immediately with a friendly and sincere welcome using the 15-5 Rule. Use a positive and clear speaking voice, listen to understand requests, respond with appropriate action, and provide accurate information such as directions to company offices and local attractions. Be familiar with events taking place in area.
Promptly complete the registration process by inputting and retrieving information from computer system, confirming pertinent information including number of guests and room rate. Make appropriate selection of rooms based on guest needs and code electronic keys. Nonverbally confirm the room number and rate. Provide check in folders containing room keys. Close out guest accounts at time of check out. Use standards for check-ins and check-outs.
Verify and imprint credit cards for authorization using electronic acceptance methods. Handle cash, make change and balance an assigned house bank. Keep record of all the vouchers received at the frontdesk. Post charges to guest room accounts. Perform bucket check every shift to verify payment type, correct demographic information, and room rate.
Promptly answer the telephone using positive and clear English language. Take reservations. Retrieve mail, small packages and faxes for guests as requested. Ensure the voice message is left for the guests about the mail.
Close guest accounts at time of check out and ascertain satisfaction. In the event of dissatisfaction, negotiate compromise and authorize revenue allowances to remedy problems only after other alternative solutions have been offered. Complete daily shift checklist and other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Have working knowledge of reservations and procedures. Take reservations on the phone. Know cancellation and walk procedures.
Communicate with Housekeeping and Maintenance department to follow up on guest requests.
Field guest complaints, conducting thorough research to develop the most effective solutions and negotiate results. Listen and extend assistance in order to resolve problems such as price conflicts, insufficient heating or air conditioning, etc. Remain calm and alert especially during emergency situations and heavy hotel activity. Plan and implement detailed steps by using experienced judgment and discretion.
Develop a thorough knowledge of room locations, types of rooms and room selling strategies. Know Marriott Rewards program and its benefits.
OTHER:
Regular attendance in conformance with the standards, which may be established by the hotel from time to time, is essential to the successful performance of this position.
Due to the cyclical nature of the hospitality industry, may be required to work varying schedules to reflect the business needs of the hotel.
Upon employment, all team members are required to fully comply with hotel rules and regulations for the safe and efficient operation of hotel facilities. Team members who violate hotel rules and regulations will be subject to disciplinary action, up to and including termination of employment.

* Greets prospects and residents as they enter the office/leasing area, and ensure the comforts of prospects and visitors while they wait to speak with a team member.

Previous experience as a FrontDesk Agent is preferred
Experience in a customer service industry is required

Responsible for greeting guests, residents, and employees, managing both external and internal calls, taking and communicating messages, and providing information of a general nature.
Responsibilities:
Carries out telephone answering and reception duties as required.
Takes complete messages with pertinent information and communicates messages to the intended recipient.
Greets residents and visitors. Answers inquiries and gives directions.
Collates brochures for the marketing department.
Prepares meal tickets for team members and family members, tallies meal count sheets for the Dining staff.
Updates the Resident Phone List and Roster and Move-In and Move-Out Register daily; Guest and Sign-In Logs as necessary.
Manages appointments for residents and family members such as but not limited to hairdresser, transportation, etc.
Maintains and keeps desk and entry area neat and organized.
Organizes, distributes mail to residents, Executive Director and Department Coordinators.
Maintains resident forms for miscellaneous credits.
Maintains adherence to all company personnel policies and established operating policies and procedures.
Other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.
One to three years customer service experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Millennia Housing Management is seeking motivated Building Concierge.
The Concierge will be one of the first point of contact at Key Center. This individual will have persuasive sales and marketing skills, excellent communication and negotiating abilities, and are customer service oriented. The concierge serves as a customer service/sales consultant. Basic responsibilities will be fill the role of hospitality ambassador at the site, as the concierge is the first point of contact for residents, visitors, prospects and vendors. This position is to satisfy resident's requests, questions and needs, serve as a liaison to the Management office and to provide information, tours, taking calls etc. This person will work with the Marriott to deliver a seamless experience between Tower and guests when needed.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities
Greet residents and guests in a courteous and friendly manner as they enter the building.
Become familiar and provide recommendations to residents on community attractions and local amenities when requested.
Provides brochures, floor plans and other collateral to clients.
Maintains a clean and orderly frontdesk, lobby area, and storage closets were applicable.
Prepares incident reports and correlating documentation.
Adheres to established policies related to fair housing.
Communicates with co-workers, management, residents, vendors, and all outside contacts in a courteous and professional manner.
Maintains confidentiality of co-workers, management, owners, past and current residents, vendors, and all outside contacts.
Must be team oriented.
Check visitors in using a valid form of identification.
Ensure every interaction receive exceptional customer service through warm greetings, suitable recommendations, and improvised solutions, if needed.
Provide appropriate assistance as needed to residents, guests, and visitors in expedient and professional manner while adhering to company and building policies.
Proactively seeks opportunities to meet or exceed the expectations of the resident, guest, or visitor.
Assure prompt and positive action on all complaints, questions, and concerns.
Ensure visitors, messengers, and vendors follow access control procedures, according to building policy.
Control after hour access to the lobby through the admittance process.
Screen guests and visitors in an efficient manner to expedite their admittance to the building as needed.
Prevents losses and damage by reporting irregularities or incidents immediately to management.
Immediately responds to emergencies to provide necessary assistance to residents, guests, and visitors.
Respond to incidents of fire, medical emergency, activated alarms, flooding, water discharge, elevator emergency, hazardous materials, inclement weather, suspicious activity, and other incidents or conditions.
Maintain logs, prepare incident reports, activity reports and communicate accordingly to management, life and safety personnel and/or public safety authorities, as required.
Performs other related duties as assigned by management.

Required Education and Experience
High school diploma or equivalent.
One to two years related experience or equivalent preferred.
General knowledge of security procedures/methods and fire safety.

Work Conditions & Physical Demands
Work is performed indoors and outdoors in a residential setting with regular exposure to cold, heat, noise, people, and equipment.
