This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program. Please note the salary information shown above is a general guideline only. What you'll do:
The Production Technician (Fabrication) is responsible for precise fabrication of copper and aluminum busbars using CNC and brake press machines for installation in electrical control equipment. Perform bus fabrication, preparation, and layout builds for switchboard assemblies. Use established procedures and equipment to verify electrical/mechanical integrity of units assembled. Perform all assignments within acceptable quantity and perfect quality requirements in keeping within assigned functions.
Operate CNC machine and brake press to cut, punch, and bend copper & aluminum busbars
Interpret engineering drawings and schematics to ensure accuracy
Regularly set up equipment and perform tool die changes and inspections
Inspect finished bus components for quality and dimensional accuracy
Actively participate and demonstrate competency in health and safety training
Maintain equipment, tools, and work area per established 5S guidelines.
Flex into other areas of production assembly as needed per business need.
Cross-train and flex across functions based on development and business needs.

Qualifications:
Basic Qualifications:
Must have a minimum of one year CNC or fabrication experience
No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within 50 miles of the work location will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

Responsibilities
Understand controls (valves, piping, start/stop switches, timers) and operation of Cleaning Systems
Perform exterior washes on trucks and trailers
Perform interior cleans to bare metal clean
Disassemble and reassemble internal and external valves
Clean hoses and product pumps
Complete trailer preps per customer request
Properly collect and label heels from trailers
Use Wash System to complete wash tickets per customer requirements
Enter tanks to clean trailers in compliance with the Confined Space Entry Policy
Use Flare and CAS Air Treatment System during the wash
Identify Maintenance issues with Cleaning Equipment and report to the Supervisor
Comply with environmental regulations; Air Permit, Discharge Permit, and Do Not Clean list
Operate yard truck and forklift equipment
Possesses and demonstrates the ability to perform assigned tasks in a manner that adheres to the company Safety, Health, Environmental, and Security policies
Qualifications
