Requisition Summary
PacLease is seeking a CreditAnalyst Intern to join our team. The position will be located at PACCAR's head office located in Bellevue, Washington.
We are looking for an Intern who has a passion for finance, works collaboratively and is open to new challenges. The successful applicant has demonstrated experience in developing themselves within financial services. The position involves working closely with our Sales Team, Contract Administration and Dealer Network, resulting in sound decision-making, while promoting the sale and financing of PACCAR products. The internship provides valuable experience with working directly with management and gain first-hand experience from industry professionals.

Job Description
To be successful in this role, a Billing and Credit Specialist should have strong analytical and communication skills, be detail-oriented and organized, and possess a deep understanding of billing and credit principles and practices. They should be able to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously, work well under pressure, and be comfortable working with large amounts of transaction data in a highly structured financial system.
Key Responsibilities:
Managing the credit analysis process, evaluating the creditworthiness of customers, and making recommendations for credit decisions
Managing the billing process, including the generation of invoices, verifying the accuracy of billable amounts, and meeting billing deadlines
Developing and maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including sales teams, finance teams, and customers
Overseeing the collection process, following up with clients to ensure timely payment, and minimizing payment delays and bad debt write-offs
Qualifications
High School Diploma/GED and 3 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as any level degree/certification beyond a HS diploma/GED in a related discipline and up to 1 year of experience; or 5 years' experience in a related field
Strong knowledge of accounting principles and regulations
Proficient in Microsoft Excel
Experience using Accounts Receivable / Invoicing software
Excellent communication and people skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with both internal and external stakeholders
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Associate's degree or higher and media billing experience preferred

A Day in the Life:

* Ensures that decisions conform to credit guidelines and lending retail authority levels of a Credit Level I analyst at entry-level regional assignment, makes credit decision recommendations to Credit Level II and Senior Analyst for credit approval. Authority level may progress based on demonstrated performance measurements.
* Processes and decisions credit applications received and presented in LOS, decisions VRU, Funding, Transfer of Equity and Internet queues, dealer inbound phone calls and initiates outbound dealer calls.
* Develops and maintains business relationships with dealer personnel. Interacts with dealers regarding lending decisions based on credit evaluations.

Inside the Role
The Fleet Credit Specialist is responsible for DTFS commercial retail and lease acquisitions for Fleet customers above $1.25MM outstanding with DTFS. What You Drive At DTFS
Analyze the financial condition for Fleet borrowers with DTFS outstanding balance that exceed $1.25MM, or requesting a line of credit.
Perform timely reviews of Fleet borrowers with outstanding balances in excess of $1MM.
For credit files outside of limits of authority, present sound and reasoned recommendations to the appropriate approving authorities, such as Local, Local + Senior, and Executive Credit Committee.
Build positive relations and work with District Finance Managers (DFMs) on buying strategies to ensure proper credit risk and returns are achieved.
Participate in joint Sales calls and Customer/Dealer visits, when necessary.
Have an understanding of all Fleet-related legal documentation to remain complaint.
Ensure compliance with all applicable regulations including both the Local and Global Credit Rules.
Share knowledge with team members to increase overall team performance.
Assist in department projects, process improvement, supporting company values and customer experience.
Knowledge You Should Bring
BS/BA or 6 years of relevant experience in lieu of degree
Required proficiency in speaking and writing French
2 years of financial services experience
1 year of experience in underwriting or credit risk assessment
Microsoft Suite and Corporate mainframe knowledge

We are currently looking for a Consumer CreditAnalyst II to join our team in Dallas, TX (Onsite/Hybrid) or Las Vegas, NV (Remote) or anywhere in US (Remote).
Work hours will be Monday to Friday 8 hrs/ day shift scheduled between 7 am to 11 pm CT with flexibility to work on weekends on rotation required. Residents of Dallas and commutable distance to Dallas should be open to work 5 days in office.
Job Description Summary
Analyzes consumer credit applications to determine the credit worthiness of applicants within smaller markets and determines the risk level based on an evaluation and assessment of the Credit Bureau and other sources. Negotiates tiers and term and reviews deal structure with dealers, develops and maintains a positive business relationship with the dealers, providing customer service and support to the dealer regarding credit policy and the dealer's applicants. CreditAnalyst position assigned to entry-level regional assignment, non-Metro area, with cross-regional movement for growth and development.
A Day in the Life:
* Evaluates credit applications based on information received from credit bureau reports and various other sources.
* Ensures that decisions conform to credit guidelines and lending retail authority levels of a Credit Level I analyst at entry-level regional assignment, makes credit decision recommendations to Credit Level II and Senior Analyst for credit approval. Authority level may progress based on demonstrated performance measurements.
* Processes and decisions credit applications received and presented in LOS, decisions VRU, Funding, Transfer of Equity and Internet queues, dealer inbound phone calls and initiates outbound dealer calls.
* Develops and maintains business relationships with dealer personnel. Interacts with dealers regarding lending decisions based on credit evaluations.
* Negotiates credit decisions tiers and terms on applications, approvals and declines. Utilizes scoring and credit analysis to administer to a risk-based finance program.
* Maintains positive relationship with support staff and Field Service Managers to resolve credit and finance issues. Supports the Field team and Funding department by solving credit, finance, and compliance issues.
* As necessary, performs other related duties of which the above is representative.

Education and Years of Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Finance or degree in related field with minimum of 2 years credit lending experience required, with 1 years of secured credit buying experience required preferably in automotive finance will be beneficial. Or Associate's degree in Finance or degree in related field with minimum of 3 years credit lending experience required, with 1 to 2 years of secured credit buying experience required preferably in automotive finance will be beneficial. Or High-school diploma with minimum of 7 years credit lending experience required, with 2 years of secured credit buying experience required preferably in automotive finance will be beneficial.
Computer Skills:
Proficient in Computer use to look up data or information, to generate/print standard reports or spreadsheets developed by others, or to use computer programs developed by others.

Salary Range:
$56,776.00 - $87,510.00
