    Job Title: Quality Technician - Electronics Department: Current State - Production / Future State - Quality Job Summary: The Quality Technician - Electronics is responsible for performing end-of-line testing of electronic equipment to ensure products meet functional, electrical, and quality specifications before release to customers. This role requires hands-on testing, troubleshooting, and documentation, working closely with production, quality, and engineering teams to maintain product reliability and compliance. Responsibilities: Perform electrical and functional tests on finished products using test equipment, fixtures, and software tools. Ensure compliance with company standards, ISO 9001/14001, and applicable safety/electrical regulations. Requirements: Associate degree (2-year) in Electronics, Electrical Technology, or related field or equivalent work experience in electronics/electrical assembly/testing. Experience with test equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, automated test systems). Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Attention to detail and commitment to product quality. Prior experience in electronics manufacturing or electrical assembly/testing preferred. Maintain the calibration schedule ensuring that all inspection equipment is calibrated on time and in good working order. Maintain all gage certifications and calibration records, ensuring that they are up to date, efficient, and accurate at all times. Schedule outside source calibrations, maintenance, and repairs of all appropriate inspection equipment (CMMs, electronic gages, comparators, etc.). Troubleshoot gaging issues and concerns with cross functional teams. Support the Quality, Engineering, and Manufacturing Teams with gage selection and conceptualization. Manage the Request for Quote (RFQ) process for new gages. Assist in Measurement System Analysis including Gage R&Rs and Gage Correlation Studies. Support audits by gathering the required information. Observe and promote company standards and policies on safety, quality, and productivity. Support and participate in customer, regulatory, and internal audits as needed when gage calibration is audited. Qualifications: Good math skills Good understanding of blueprint reading and GD&T Be able to use calipers, micrometers, comparator, etc. Be able to use or learn to use a CMM US Citizen (able to meet ITAR/EAR requirements) Strong communication skills Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, Visio, Access, PowerPoint, Outlook) Why Join Millat Industries? We're currently searching for a Quality Technician to lead our Systems team and help us grow and scale and continue our tradition of success POSITION OVERVIEW The Quality Technician is responsible for performing routine production inspections and facilitating root cause analyses to ensure products that do not meet the specifications are distributed. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES Test chassis components and drive to evaluate the drive train, steering and other mechanical systems Complete all paperwork for the inspection and be able to further explain defects identified during testing Conduct in-process inspections of trucks as they are coming down the assembly line Perform inspection on production units as they are finished in production Guide team to cover all production quality inspection demands Collaborate with other departments to facilitate material timing and escalation Facilitate problem solving activities, including root cause analysis exercises Identify systematic issues inside the production process and facilitate solutions and process improvements accordingly Retrieve Engineering drawings for review and use Recognize the Quality Management System in place at BM and participate in the processes and procedures of the QMS Other duties as assigned This position will adhere to the Battle Motors Environmental Health and Safety Program by following all safety rules, procedures, practices, training, and safe use of equipment; this includes use of personal protective equipment (PPE) as required. This individual will work in a way that stresses the importance of preventing injury, accidents, or illnesses to themselves or co-workers by correcting or reporting unsafe situations, incidents, or occurrences to their Supervisor immediately.
