Job Summary:
The Behavioral Interventionist (BI) works one-on-one in the home and/or community with youth who struggle with behavioral management to the degree it threatens the stability of their living situation. The families in this program have varying levels of communication, parenting, organizational, and cleanliness skill sets. Our job is to work with all families, regardless of skill levels displayed. It is the expectation that the assigned BI continue the case assignment, regardless of family dynamics or home conditions.
Responsibilities: Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Provide one-on-one services to clients enrolled in the Behavioral Interventionist program, following requirements and policies of agency, contracts, state regulations and COA standards at all times.
Maintain strong, open communication with caregivers of clients to ensure service efficacy and approval of agenda and activities during shifts. Adhere to family routines and structure, as established.
Provide direct supervision to client at all times.
Assist clients through completion of daily responsibilities, activities, and living skills.
Provide direction, coaching, and approved intervention strategies at all times.
Actively and regularly engage with client by using approved Bruce Perry trauma-informed brain stimulating activities.
Adhere to the goals established in the Individualized Behavioral Objective Plan to help youth work toward and achieve treatment goals.
Model positive behavior and effective problem-solving techniques.
Complete all shift documentation the same day of a shift worked.
Maintain strong, open communication with direct supervisor regarding services delivered, concerns, or questions.

POSITION SUMMARY
The Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) is responsible for designing, implementing, and supervising individualized therapy programs for individuals receiving Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services. These programs aim to improve daily functioning, independence, and overall quality of life. The BCBA utilizes evidence-based ABA strategies-such as positive reinforcement, shaping, prompt fading, and task analysis-to create effective behavior intervention and skill acquisition plans tailored to each client. In addition to clinical responsibilities, the BCBA provides ongoing supervision of RBTs, ensuring high-quality service delivery, adherence to treatment plans, and professional growth. This role includes overseeing data collection systems, analyzing behavior data to monitor client progress, and making data-driven decisions in collaboration with families and care teams.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
* Able to lead cross functional teams in support of client's treatment plan
* Administer assessments (e.g., ABLS-RR, AFLS) and create goals based off the assessments.
* Assesses the individual's performance and implements treatment based on established goals, including but not limited to the FBA (i.e., Functional Behavior Assessment, Behavior Support Plans, Behavior Reduction Plans).
* Serves, communicates, and consults as a member of an interdisciplinary team.
* Provides training and education to staff, caregivers, and other stakeholders.
* Provides feedback and ongoing support to Registered Behavior Technicians

Provide intake and readmission services, including offering psychoeducational information on the potential benefits and risks of medically assisted treatment for substance use disorders.
Refer appropriate clients for Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) services to medical staff for further evaluation.
Onboard and orient eligible clients to ACT services, operation, and procedures.
Provide individual, family, and group recovery services, as well as ongoing treatment planning for substance abuse clients.
Collaborate with the medication management team regarding the treatment of clients participating in ACT services.
Provide treatment to alcohol/drug clients referred by specific programs that meet the requirements for those programs in terms of content and duration, including leading weekly SUD Groups.

Greenbush ESC USD 609 • ***************** TO APPLY, CLICK HERE Greenbush The Southeast Kansas Education Service Center is seeking applications for an Early Interventionist - Physical Therapist at the Leavenworth County Infant Toddler Services in Lansing, KS.
Anticipated Start Date: 11/01/2025.
Job Summary: The Early Interventionist will serve on a transdisciplinary team for families enrolled in the Infant Toddler Program and provide comprehensive and integrated support as outlined in the Part C Program Manual for Infants and Toddlers in Kansas.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
* Minimum of Kansas licensure or certification within the discipline.
* Valid Kansas drivers license.
Preferred:
* Experience in a special education setting and working with infants and toddlers.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Essential Functions:
* Screen and/or evaluate the developmental skills of children referred to the Infant Toddler program. Evaluations will be completed following all Part C requirements.
* Provide direct services and consultation services to families in the program. All services will be provided in the child's home or other natural setting.
* Collaborate with other team members in gathering and sharing evaluation information and in planning for the service needs of families enrolled in the program. First priority will be given to goals set by the families.
* Develop and implement an Individualized Family Service Plan (IFSP) for each child in the program. The plan will be the guidance provided by Kansas Infant Toddler Services up to the transition to Part B.
* Assist families with family-related needs such as making appointments, educational opportunities, finding appropriate housing, assisting with employment opportunities, and occasionally accompanying families to medical services.
* Assist in recruiting families to the program through collaboration with community partners.
* Provide services following the Mission and Key Principles outlined by Kansas Infant Toddler Services.
* Demonstrate knowledge and implementation of current research-based practices in the field of early intervention.
General Responsibilities:
* Maintain timely documentation.
* Support the mission, goals, and objectives of the SEKESC.
* Demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills.
* Maintain strict confidentiality as outlined by FERPA and HIPAA.
* Ability to work alone and in groups to provide services.
* Maintain professional relationships with families.
* Assume responsibility for individual professional growth by staying current with literature, research, and/or practices.
* Demonstrate proficiency in the ability to effectively and regularly communicate with other employees of the SEKESC and constituents.
* Complete all assignments in a timely manner including communication with other staff and families.
* Follow all safety requirements as directed by the SEKESC.
* Perform other duties as assigned by the Executive Director or designee.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
* May be expected to lift to 40 pounds.
* Manages all job duties with mobility, agility, and dexterity.
* Must be able to drive in varying weather and geographical conditions.
* Must be able to drive to and from home visits and access homes of each family in various indoor and outdoor conditions.
* May be exposed to infectious and contagious diseases.
* May be exposed to work settings that offer a risk to personal security.
