About the Role
Join a high-volume metal stamping environment repairing and maintaining progressive dies, fixtures, and in-press tooling. You'll read complex blueprints, troubleshoot tooling failures, and keep production running safely and on time.
What You'll Do
Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot complex progressive dies and fixtures
Perform in-press die maintenance; diagnose and correct tooling failures
Operate manual lathes, mills, and grinders; use calipers/micrometers
Read complex drawings; apply shop math; meet tight tolerances
Support production priorities; work OT/Saturdays when required
Must-Haves
4+ years in tool & die (progressive dies repair/maintenance)
Proficient on manual lathes/mills/grinders; strong blueprint reading
Strong attendance record; able to lift up to 80 lbs

This requires operating overhead crane to hoist and lift molds and place together.
This involves using bilateral upper extremities and a moderate amount of force.
Can be required to squat, stoop or kneel when accessing molds.
Molds are hoisted together and chains applied.
Mold is then placed in pit by crane operator.
Pouring of metals requires a great amount of force, especially for the 28 ton ladle.
Responsible for undoing chains at appropriate time.
Responsible for shake up of molds.
This requires removing mold at appropriate time.
Task #2: Cleaning and maintenance
Required to clean and maintain molds throughout the day as needed.
Responsible for keeping area debris free and free from safety hazards

The Beneficiary Help Line Specialist provides high-quality customer service and accurate information to Social Security beneficiaries, responding to inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels. This role assists callers by explaining program requirements, answering questions about benefits, and resolving issues or escalating complex concerns as needed. The Specialist is responsible for delivering courteous service in accordance with SSA standards, maintaining confidential information, and supporting the overall effectiveness of the Beneficiary Help Line.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
• Respond promptly and professionally to beneficiary inquiries about Social Security benefits, work incentives, and program options.
• Accurately research, interpret, and explain SSA program policies and procedures to callers in a clear and accessible manner.
• Document all interactions, actions taken, and resolutions in case management systems to maintain accurate records.
• Identify and promptly escalate complex, sensitive, or unresolved issues to supervisory staff or appropriate resources.
• Comply with SSA privacy, security, and confidentiality regulations when handling beneficiary information.
• Participate in regular training, team meetings, and performance improvement initiatives.

Requirements:

* Set up and operate conventional and numerically controlled machines such as lathes, mills, and grinders to cut, bore, grind or otherwise shape parts to prescribed dimensions and finishes.
* Verify dimensions, alignments, and clearances of finished parts for conformance to specifications using measuring instruments such as calipers, gauge blocks, height master, micrometers, and dial indicators.
* Fit and assemble parts to make, repair, or modify fixtures, jigs, gages, and tools using machine tools and hand tools
* Conduct test runs with completed tools to ensure that they meet specifications, making adjustments as necessary
* Lift, position, and secure materials on surface plates, machines, or worktables
