Your work will include: Perform various mechanical/structural analyses tasks associated with nuclear fuel designs and related components, including static structural analyses, dynamic analyses for seismic and accident conditions, flow-induced vibration (FIV) and fretting wear assessments. Apply engineering theory and analytical tools (e.g. finite element analysis) to solve problems. Define and interpret testing to understand structural and dynamic behavior and failure mechanisms of structures. Simulate structural and dynamic behavior of structures using numerical methods.
