In this role, you will take ownership of developing and executing visually compelling content across tarte's social, digital, and performance marketing channels. As a key creative partner, you will collaborate closely with Social, Creative, Digital Marketing, and eCommerce teams to concept, design, and optimize assets that resonate with our global community. This role is ideal for someone with strong design expertise, a passion for beauty and digital culture, and the ability to balance creative vision with data-driven insights.
Key Responsibilities
Design and execute engaging, on-brand content for social platforms (Instagram, TikTok, Reddit, Pinterest, Facebook), including static posts, motion graphics, GIFs, stories, and reels.
Assist in creating email graphics, website banners, and digital ads to support marketing campaigns.
Partner with the performance marketing team to design and optimize high-performing paid social acquisition assets, including short-form videos, animated overlays, and static variations informed by campaign results.
Ensure brand consistency across all creative assets while staying innovative and trend-forward.
Collaborate with the Marketing, Social, and Creative teams to develop compelling visuals that drive engagement.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from concept to delivery, ensuring timelines and brand standards are met.
Edit and resize images, retouch product photos, and prepare assets for multiple digital platforms.
Stay up to date with social media trends, design best practices, and emerging technologies.
Organize and maintain digital design files and templates. Assist with additional creative projects, such as presentations and promotional materials.
Qualifications
3-5 years of experience in graphic design, digital design, or social media creative (beauty/fashion/CPG preferred).
Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Digital Design, Marketing, or a related field preferred.
Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign). Experience designing for social media, email marketing, digital advertising, and paid social content.
Knowledge of motion graphics, video editing (Premiere Pro or After Effects), and Canva or Figma is a plus.
Must have experience leveraging AI-powered tools (chatgpt, Adobe AI, perplexity, replit, sora, etc) and innovation. Vibe coding experience is a plus.
Understanding of typography, composition, and color theory in a digital space.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects at once.

Who You Are:
4+ years of professional design experience, with a significant focus on social content.
Agency experience is preferred; in-house agency experience is a

Bachelor's degree in Multimedia Design, Graphic Design, Motion Design, or a related field.
Technical Proficiency: Mastery of Adobe Creative Cloud (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, etc.) and proficiency with Figma. Mac literacy is required.
Design Fundamentals: A proven history of excellence in design fundamentals, including typography, layout, composition, brand adherence, and critical thinking with regard to creative application.
Conceptual Thinking: Track record of innovative ideation and generating culturally

• At least 7+ years experience designing rich interactive brand, campaign and ecommerce experiences. Print/offline experience is preferred.
• Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, New Media or related field.
• Portfolio that represents a wide range of design styles, diverse projects and a clear personal aesthetic.
• Intimate knowledge of Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign. HTML, After Effects and Final Cut is a plus.
• Impressive design, conceptual thinking, and typography skills.

What You'll Do…
Influencer, Media, and Partnerships Management:
Coordinate our monthly influencer program, including sourcing & vetting new influencers, to coordinating with their managers to set rates, sign contracts, and approve content, to working with the warehouse to ensure timely product delivery.
Coordinate our media buying program, from maintaining our media buys database to serving as the point of contact for external teams.
Identify, evaluate, and coordinate brand partnership opportunities.
Organize and analyze performance of influencers, media buys, and brand partners, and recommend ideas for how to improve our program based on these insights.
Creative Briefing and Production Management:
Manage the creative workflow end-to-end in Asana, including setting up projects, assessing incoming creative requests, assigning tasks, and tracking dependencies and deliverables.
Develop clear, actionable creative briefs that lead to strong outputs, including briefs for the internal creative team, UGC creators, and photographers,
Work cross-functionally on upcoming campaign strategies and book releases to understand creative needs, delivery expectations, potential efficiencies and roadblocks.
Performance Marketing & Analytics:
Build and proof campaigns across paid social, email, and other digital marketing channels, ensuring processes are in place for error-free and timely launch of all ads/emails/etc.
Launch new channels, and propose strategic adjustments to budget, targeting, and creative to optimize conversion of our ads & emails.
Coordinate daily, weekly, monthly, and special project reporting and analysis
Support large-scale Growth campaigns and projects, coordinating tasks, managing deliverables, and contributing to execution strategies.
