Principal Duties/Responsibilities:
Inspects, measures, troubleshoots, and repairs complex failures associated with Tool and Die.
Develops and writes concise technical documents, including set-up procedures, PM procedures, and troubleshooting procedures.
Heat-treats tools or parts.
Measures, marks, and scribes metal stock for machining.
Smoothes flat and contoured surfaces, using scrapers, abrasive stones, and power grinders, and fits and assembles parts together and into assemblies and mechanisms, using hand tools.
Verifies dimensions, alignments, and clearances, using measuring instruments, such as dial indicators, gauge blocks, thickness gauges, and micrometers.
Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, & Behaviors Required:
Post-secondary technical training or certification preferred
At least seven years related experience with tool and die tasks
At least five years previous experience with measurement processes and equipment capabilities used in order to perform repairs and adjustments to complex die sets
At least two years previous experience with electronic drawing such as AutoCad, Pro-E or Solid Works and ability to modify existing drawings
AT least two years previous experience performing heat treat processes on tool and die components
Proficiency with failure analysis, reliability studies, and performance enhancements
Ability to read and understand quality reports and testing methods

What a typical day looks like:
Maintain continuous system operation by adjusting, repairing, replacing, or modifying automation/robotic system components

Understanding of PLCs

Collaborate with the automation team in the qualification process of automated systems.
Assists engineers in developing and designing hardware and software required for all automation solutions per specifications.
Through troubleshooting, identifies machine malfunctions and isolates the failure mechanism.
Repairs the failure mechanism in the most cost-effective manner.
Performs preventive maintenance at specified intervals and schedules.
Performs calibrations and re-qualifications on equipment at specified intervals and schedules.
Assists process technicians and engineers with the installation and removal of process equipment.
Analyzes and implements corrective action reports and process tracking mechanisms.
Disassembles instruments and equipment and inspects components for defects.
Aligns, repairs, replaces, and balances component parts and circuitry.
Assists engineers in formulating test, calibration, repair and evaluation plans and procedures to maintain precision accuracy of measuring, recording and indicating instruments and equipment.
Highest level may perform both software and hardware maintenance.

Use your skills to plan, write, modify, layout, order parts, install, troubleshoot and maintain all plant equipment (including electrical)
Actively participate in programs to improve workplace safety including, but not limited to, attending plant-wide safety training, conducting near misses and participating in plant audits.
Determine proper materials, fittings and fasteners for various applications and pressure.
What you'll bring:
Experience in Allen Bradley RS Logic 5000, 500 and 5 is a benefit.
Minimum of 3 years industrial maintenance experience, with knowledge of Pneumatics, PLC, VFD's and other industrial controls for troubleshooting various types of manufacturing equipment.
Ability to read and interpret technical manuals. Your analytical skills to determine root cause issues with equipment failure, or optimization of equipment.
AutoCAD experience would be preferred.

BUILD IT- Electrical Technicians are responsible for electrical assembly and interconnection of PRI systems during the assembly process. You will literally “build it” using your skill and knowledge of electrical assembly with minimal oversight.

Cut openings, mount parts, drill/tap holes as needed
Install all necessary cables and wires to their proper connections inside the enclosures and device end-point terminations
Test and troubleshoot completed systems and make necessary corrections
Record data and write reports to provide feedback to engineering on future design improvement ideas
Maintain an organized, safe, and clean work area
Understand the operation of all equipment to ensure proper assembly and operation
Provide assistance to other areas of Manufacturing as needed
Some travel to customer sites to support field service requests
Requirements
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Certificate or equivalent education/experience in industrial controls or electrical automation technology; degree in Control Systems Technology, Electrical Technology or equivalent program preferred
Demonstrated aptitude for working with electro-mechanical systems such as pumps, piping, pneumatics, PLC's, liquid level controls, etc.; Strong understanding of electrical schematics and PLC's.

_SUMMARY OF PRIMARY FUNCTION_
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Engineering Technician to join our team. In this role, you will play a crucial part in our engineering and testing processes, with primary responsibilities including the execution of test plans and the construction and maintenance of test equipment. You will contribute by:
_SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIES_
+ Execute test plans and procedures developed by engineers to evaluate products, components, or systems.
+ Operate and monitor test equipment, ensuring tests are conducted accurately and safely.
+ Record detailed data and observations during tests, and report any deviations or anomalies.
+ Assemble, set up, and configure test equipment and fixtures according to specifications.
+ Conduct routine maintenance, calibration, and troubleshooting of test equipment to ensure reliability.
+ Collaborate with engineers to modify or upgrade test setups as needed.
+ Maintain comprehensive records of test procedures, results, and equipment maintenance activities.
+ Create detailed test reports and assist in data analysis.
+ Adhere to safety protocols and best practices in the laboratory and test environments.
+ Ensure compliance with relevant standards and regulations in testing procedures.
+ Monitor and manage inventory levels of test equipment components and materials.
+ Assist in procurement activities to maintain necessary supplies.
+ Collaborate closely with engineers and other team members to support testing goals and project objectives.
+ Provide feedback and suggestions for improving test processes and equipment.

The compensation range for this position is $54,200.00 - $81,400.00, depending on experience. This position may be eligible for performance based bonus plan.

What you'll do:
Basic Qualifications (must have)- Must have a minimum of FIVE (5) years of experience as a maintenance electrician in a manufacturing environment and must have proficiency with PLC and other electronics equipment.
