Gain an understanding of the plant, process, and equipment by working with a diverse group of functional areas on such projects as: efficiency issues, waste reduction, energy - related process improvements, reliability principles and practices, working with contractors, and plant process and equipment improvements.
Support project delivery of both capital and non-capital scopes, liaising with clients, contractor representatives and/or project field personnel as necessary.
Assist with the development and implementation of visual management tools, standard work instructions, and process controls to sustain process improvements.
Collect and analyze data from Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS), including trending of critical equipment to determine common failure modes at the plant.
Conduct job hazard analyses for areas on the production line. Identify hazards by analyzing each job and its associated tasks or by identifying all common hazards in the workplace.
Facilitate the implementation of 5S Lean Manufacturing systems into the manufacturing plant environment

Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical or Industrial Engineering.
Analytical skills, initiating ideas, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, problem-solving, and critical thinking capabilities.
Organize and manage multiple projects simultaneously, ability to quickly gain, and effectively apply new skills & knowledge.
Leadership and collaboration to work in a cross-functional team.
Excellent Interpersonal and communication skills
Able to read and interpret technical drawings and documents, with proficiency in AutoCAD a plus.
Proficient in MS software (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
PowerBI/Python skills are a plus.
