    Job Description Team Leader I In this role you will support Production Leads, Supervisors, Managers with daily management in the day-to-day activities to ensure products and services are delivered on time to customers As a Team Leader I you will: Assist in leading employees within an area of responsibility on a variety of processes and operations Assist in the training and development of production team members. Work with operations and cross functional teams to identify, troubleshoot, and resolve production challenges. Responsible for MRO inventories, manage and requisition shop supplies and tools ensuring availability to limit production disruptions. Support and identify improvements to standard production work processes and work with Training Support Coordinator to implement. Evaluate demand of parts job and coordinate delivery. Work with appropriate team members to manage and close NCRs. Initiate corrective actions, when appropriate. Research missing parts and investigate, cycle count, reconcile and disposition inventory and work with warehouse and purchasing staff to resolve parts shortages and discrepancies. Investigate work order and inventory discrepancies to determine root cause and recommend corrective actions. Assist material handlers in daily tasks. Support continuous improvement projects. Perform other projects and duties as assigned Communicate effectively with others at various levels of the organization. We are looking for someone who: Is a self-starter with high degree of motivation who can operate with minimal supervision. Has previous manufacturing experience. Has good analytical, interpersonal skills, and problem-solving capabilities. Is knowledge and experience in ERP or MRP business system Has the ability to work effectively in a team setting. Has good verbal and written communication skills. Has good organization and follow up skills Possesses experience using small hand and power tools Has basic to intermediate computer skills Holds a High School diploma, GED or combination of work experience and skill development Must be able to understand and follow verbal and written instructions in English.
