This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing food & beverage manufacturing company in Torrance, CA. In this role, you'll control the efficient operation of all plant equipment by performing mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and electronic repair and preventive maintenance.
Responsibilities
Troubleshoots and diagnoses all maintenance failures.
Uses assembly drawings, P&IDs, and manuals to tune equipment for operation.
Applies electrical (VFDs, SCRs, motor starters) and logic (PLC, SLC) principles to solve equipment problems.
Utilizes basic plumbing, metalworking, and general facilities/building maintenance knowledge as needed.
Works with operating devices such as gauges, RTDs, pressure transmitters, I/Ps, and vortex flow meters.
Trains new Associates and team members on required skill sets for Maintenance.
Maintains work area in a safe and orderly fashion per GMP and Safety guidelines.
Operates SCADA system and completes required documentation.
Performs miscellaneous duties assigned by the Team Leader.
Works with and trains Operations Associates on basic equipment troubleshooting.
Assists operations as needed during production.
Skills
3-5 years of experience in food processing, working with troubleshooting and repair of production equipment with sophisticated control systems.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to train other Associates in Maintenance operations.

The Regional Maintenance Engineer will support equipment escalation issues for ADE West, assisting GMs and Plant maintenance personnel to develop action plans and provide on-site troubleshooting for complex downtime issues. He or she will be responsible for developing and updating maintenance tools, consisting of equipment narratives, troubleshooting guides, standard work procedures, and equipment PMs, while providing the necessary training and support to plant maintenance, operators, and production managers/supervisors.
