Job Description
AECOM is actively seeking a ConstructionManager Transit Systems for immediate employment in Orange, CA.
Supports, oversees and coordinates engineering production activities for an operating unit.
Makes decisions and recommendations that are recognized as authoritative.
Initiates and maintains contact with senior-level management within the company and is skilled in dispute resolution and negotiation of critical issues. At this level, the individual will have demonstrated understanding of project delivery requirements, creativity, foresight, working with a multi-disciplinary team to meet project goals and deliver high quality technical excellence.
Demonstrates mature judgment in anticipating and solving both routine and unusual operations problems, determining operational objectives and requirements, organizing programs and projects, and developing standards and guides for diverse engineering activities.
Supervision received is essentially administrative with assignments given in terms of broad general objectives and limits.
CONSTRUCTIONMANAGER TRANSIT SYSTEMS
Duties:
* Supervise constructionmanagement program of rail transit subway systems project, as part of an integrated interdisciplinary team.
* Assist the overall project ConstructionManager in their duties.
* Act as ConstructionManager overseeing the activities of Assistant constructionmanagers, office engineers, assistant office engineers and construction inspectors.
* Monitor contractors' work for compliance with schedule, budget, technical specifications, and legal requirements.
* Monitor and review construction progress.
* Attend progress meetings and assist in preparing reports on project status.
* Provide management and implementation for startup and testing programs for transit system elements.
* Review contractor requests for information or clarifications, and when appropriate, assist in claims review and the preparation of contract change orders/modifications.
* Provide technical scope and justification for contract changes for use in negotiations for change orders.
* Coordinate resolution of design and field construction problems. Expedite the implementation of approved design and field changes.
* Communicate and implement safety rules, policies, and procedures in support of project specific safety vision and goals to contractors and subordinate personnel.
Qualifications
Qualifications:
* BA/BS + 10 years or more of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education, including 2 years of leadership.
Desirable:
* Cal-OSHA/OSHA 30 training certification.
* Registration as a Professional Engineer.
* At least ten years of experience in transit systems construction with five years in construction of transit projects in the areas of underground transit systems as part of a subway transit system.
* Experience as an assistant constructionmanager or resident engineer on project valued over $100 million.

**AECOM** is seeking a **Healthcare ConstructionManager** in **Los Angeles, CA** .
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
+ Oversees construction sites, general contractors, and workers to ensure a high level of quality and safety.
+ Provides direction to Contractor regarding field activities.
+ Creates and reviews Requests for Information and Change Orders.
+ Verifies that the project is constructed and documented in accordance with the contract documents and good engineering practices.
+ Provides technical support to Project Managers.
+ Assists in change order estimating and assists the Project Manager in change order negotiations.
+ Coordinates and monitors schedule updates, invoices, and submittals.
+ Reviews and manages the progress of contractors' construction schedules.
+ Reviews weekly and monthly reports on the status and progress of the contracts, including project costs and potential changes.
+ Reports on the status of projects to Project Manager, Program Manager and Client
+ Attend client program meetings as needed.
**Qualifications**
**Minimum Requirements:**
+ Bachelor's degree plus 8 years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Minimum of 10 years' experience.
+ Must possess OSHPD/HCAI experience.
+ Must have experience with medium to large healthcare project.
+ Strong written and verbal communications skills
+ OSHPD 1 and OSHPD 3 project experience is a must.
+ Must be able to interface with client and maintain the relationship while managing the project.
+ Excellent communication skills is a must.
+ Manage and assign staff on the project.
+ Design-Build experience is a plus

Key Responsibilities
Lead on-site delivery of constructionmanagement (CM) services and manage a staff of CM professionals as necessary.
Support construction safety implementation through understanding safety requirements. Develop a safety culture within the project CM Team. Confirm construction contractor safety programs are submitted, approved, and followed by all parties involved in the project.
Implement CM schedule, cost, quality, communication, decision-making, and information tools and processes across the project.
Support program and project controls activities through schedule control, cost control, change management, risk management, and reporting tools.
Attend and/or support meetings and teleconferences as required, including preparing correspondence and maintaining official construction site records.
Monitor the contract progress and make recommendations to the client for contractor payments.
Work to build a cooperative partnership between client, contractors, and all stakeholders to ensure timely resolution of project issues and the overall success of the project.
Demonstrate effective risk management and mitigation practices through proper risk identification, assessment, tracking, and communication.
Responsible for the enforcement of contract documents including plans and specifications.
Understanding and/or development of start-up and commissioning plans and identifying associated resources as necessary.
Maintain electronic document control systems and project files/documentation.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS in Engineering, ConstructionManagement, or Architecture + 6 Years of relevant experience
Due to the nature of the project, US citizenship is required.
Preferred Requirements:
BA/BS in Engineering, ConstructionManagement, or Architecture + 10 Years of relevant experience
Strong background in construction project management and the ability to collaborate with multiple stakeholders to drive desired outcomes.
Must have demonstrated proficiency in the use of computers to prepare reports using Microsoft Office programs such as Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
Understanding of design specs and drawings.
PE, CCM, or PMP preferred.
Ten (10) years of progressively challenging experience on major construction projects performing ConstructionManagement.
ConstructionManagement experience on projects valued at $100M and greater.
Prior construction experience on remote / austere locations
OSHA 30 Certification

Key Responsibilities
Inspection of Contractor's Work. Provide inspection of work in place, and review of the construction submittals, to provide an opinion or recommendation as to whether work is in full compliance with the contract plans and specifications.
Provide inspection on-site to provide an opinion or recommendation to the appropriate team as to whether they are in full compliance with contract plans, specifications, and requirements.
Site Progress Tracking. Review project schedule, check field progress against the schedule, and report any delays from the approved baseline. Provide site progress on schedule activities to PM, Project Controls Manager, and Scheduler for updates.
Attend preparatory meetings and participate in the inspection process required under the contract.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
High School Diploma + 6 Years of relevant experience
Due to the nature of the project, US citizenship is required.
Preferred Requirements:
Up to 90% of the time the position needs to move about indoor and outdoor construction site environments with uneven terrain, variable environmental conditions including heat, dust, noise, moisture, and dryness.
Occasionally (10-25% of workday) performing repetitive bending/stooping, repetitive or fine hand movements, working at heights, and lifting and carrying equipment weighing less than 25 pounds.
At times the position requires working with arms above shoulder level, power gripping/squeezing (hand tools, levers, etc.), climbing stairs, using portable ladders, wearing fall protection, working in confined spaces, and lifting greater than 25 pounds.
The position requires wearing associated personal protective equipment, including, but not limited to gloves, safety glasses/goggles, face shield, safety shoes/boots, hard hat, hearing protection, and fall protection.

Key Responsibilities
May supervise a Project Controls team in effort to maintain schedules, cost controls, forecasting and Change management in all level reporting.
Coach, monitor, and assist project controls team for various project assignments.
Review outstanding tasks with team members and update priority list and/or projects and/or clients with any changes.
Assist Project Management Team with project setup and execution.

Reviews purchase order and subcontract commitments and expenditures. Maintains tracking database to ensure that subcontractor funding is aligned with work authorization and expenditures.
Read and understand client contracts and subcontracts, particularly related to scope, schedule, budget, and risk. Coordinate with project management team to ensure all procedures are in place to meet contractual requirements.

AECOM is actively seeking a Collections Construction Inspector to be located in Orange County, California. The inspector will work on various construction projects for the Orange County Sanitation District through our staff augmentation contract. The Inspector will manage a list of CIP and small collections projects. The inspector shall be familiar with heavy collections with municipal wastewater treatment plant experience. Nights and weekends will happen on occasion. The inspector will be responsible for establishing quality inspection programs and processes that ensure company and customer requirements are met. Proposal preparation responsibilities include review of RFP's; preparation of written proposals, qualification packages, and SF 255's; prepare and conduct interviews with clients for new work; delegate to and supervise others in performing these proposal responsibilities.

Financial performance of assigned projects.

Job Description
AECOM is seeking a Construction Project Engineer II to be based in San Francisco, CA.
Assigned to a field construction organization in a general or single discipline position. Assist in overseeing activities of construction crafts/trades within an assigned area of responsibility.
Receives continual supervision and direction in the performance of assigned responsibility.
Receives technical and operational direction from the assigned Superintendent or Project Manager.
Assists with the planning and coordination of sub-contractor activities within the area of responsibility.
Monitor's subcontractor personnel to ensure adherence with project plans and promotes quality control of all installations
Reviews manpower, material, equipment requirements with others as designated by supervising superintendent.
Enforces policies, procedures and related work rules as established by Field Management.
Assists with compliance of safety program that creates a safe and health work environment through the job site and adheres to OSHA safety and record keeping requirements.
Ensures safety standards and requirements are adhered to by crafts/trades, laborers and others when in the assigned operational area as well as ensure tools and equipment are in safe condition and operated safely.
Prepares reports, as required, and keeps supervisors informed on progress of overall assigned activities.
Under guidance of Superintendent or Project Manager, monitors work performance and of subcontractors to ensure project plans and schedules are followed.
This includes, but is not limited to, reviewing construction methods, schedules, manning charts, material and equipment requirements, etc...
Ensures compliance with all internal and external record keeping requirements, with particular emphasis on accurate, properly coded timecards and accurately codes, fully priced material delivery tickets.
Uses current constructionmanagement system to perform record-keeping tasks including, composing daily diaries, maintaining project logs and retrieving RFIs, submittal logs and agreements.
Provides assistance to assigned contractors in scheduling issues.
Monitors the project pre-plan which includes a CPM schedule, work sequences, manpower utilization, material handling and storage requirements and equipment use.
When requested, interfaces with client, architect and design professionals to ensure compliance to design intent and client satisfaction.
Contribute to building good communications between field management, project management, estimating, procurement, suppliers, vendors, and specialty contractors to ensure construction complies with plans, specifications and company quality standards and that the project is completed on time and within budget.
• Responsible for continuously expanding and updating professional knowledge and honing training skills in order to enhance individual and team innovation and productivity.
Qualifications
Minimum Requirements:
BA/BS + 2 Years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications:
DSA Construction Experience
Experience working on a construction site
