Location: Country Inn and Suites Springfield1751 West 1st StreetSpringfield, OH 45504 Responsibilities:
Assist with the operation maintenance and repair of equipment.
Change out light bulbs; perform preventative maintenance for guest rooms to include: vinyl repair touch up paint minor furniture repair tub caulking tile repairs etc.
Perform preventative maintenance for ice machines refrigerators kitchen equipment laundry equipment HVAC guestrooms meeting rooms the swimming pool and hot tub.
Perform plumbing repair laundry equipment repair preventative maintenance on all exhaust fans and supply; monitor energy conservation; repair vacuum cleaners and any other small equipment upon request.
Immediately follow up on any alarms to determine the exact location and cause - determine emergency status and report to the Front Desk with findings.
Perform other tasks/jobs as assigned by the supervisor or manager.
Qualifications:
Experience in a hotel or a related field preferred.
High School diploma or equivalent required.
Licensed in a trade preferred (plumbing electrical HVAC carpentry etc.).

Key Responsibilities:
Safety: Promote a safe working environment by following all safety procedures.
Maintenance: Maintain and troubleshoot all conveyor systems in the building. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot relay logic, ladder diagrams, control components, photo-eyes, motor starters, limit switches, proximity sensors, solenoids, etc.
Monitoring: Create, assign, and close out work orders with data including labor hours, equipment maintenance and parts used.
Support: Lead and audit preventative maintenance procedures. Mentor junior technicians to grow in their roles.
Communication: Maintain a positive working relationship across all of the Operations facility.
Basic Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent.
4+ years of experience working with material handling equipment (MHE) such as automated conveyors and controls.
4+ years of experience conducting preventative maintenance.
4 + years of experience reading blueprints and schematics.
3+ years of experience with a Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS).
2 + years of experience with Programmable Logic Controls (PLC) programs.
Experience acting in a team lead capacity that supports, trains, and mentors less experienced technicians.
Previous vendor management experience.
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, with the ability to create and manage documents effectively.
Ability to work flexible schedules/shifts.
Preferred Qualifications:
Associates or higher degree from a vocational school or college with a focus in the Mechanical or Electrical field
Experience with robotic operation and maintenance.
Physical Demands:
Must have ability to reach overhead, kneel, squat, climb steps/ladders, use an aerial lift, and frequently lift a maximum of 50 lbs. of equipment.
Ability to perform tasks wearing appropriate or required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), which may include but is not limited to hard hat, face mask, face shield, and composite toe shoes.
Regularly required to crouch or bend and reach to install/move equipment.
Involves movement between departments, floors, and properties to facilitate work, averaging 6 to 12 miles per day.
Work in a warehouse environment with fluctuating temperatures.
Regularly required to type on a computer for 1-2 hours per day.

Able to operate a 90lb jack hammer throughout the work schedule
Familiar with computer operations with an aptitude for learning computer skills.
Work will include after-hours.
Able to be taught to safely operate industry specific tools and equipment.
Obtain / Maintain or possess / maintain certifications.
Must be eligible to work in the United States.
Physical Requirements: Ability to repetitively lift, carry, push, pull up to 50 pounds, frequent bending, stooping, standing 8-10 hours per day.

The Role:
This Maintenance Technician II is responsible for maintaining facilities, material handling, and rolling stock equipment through troubleshooting and repair of all equipment, systems, and components necessary to operate this business and the facilities in which they are installed.
What You'll Do:

The Role:
This Maintenance Technician I performs daily start-up of material handling equipment. Inspects conveyors, sorters, etc. to ensure proper operations; notes, problems; and reports problems for service. Performs basic service on material handling equipment. Makes minor adjustments, lubricates moving parts, repositions photo eyes, and reports any problems. Changes batteries in powered lift equipment. Maintains batteries by cleaning, filling, and recharging. In this role, you will maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment, including robotic welders, conveyors, and transfer systems, to keep production running safely and efficiently. This position will pay $36.42 / hour with a 6% shift differential for 2nd and 3rd shift. Must be available for 2nd and/or 3rd shift.
Responsibilities
Equipment Maintenance and Repair
+ Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production machinery and equipment
+ Remove and replace worn or defective parts; rebuild spindles, cylinders, valves, pumps, and gearboxes
+ Start up and test equipment after repair to verify safe, effective operation
Diagnostics and Technical Support
+ Use precision measuring instruments to verify tolerances and alignment
+ Read and interpret hydraulic and pneumatic schematics to diagnose issues
+ Inspect and measure parts to identify wear, misalignment, and other defects
Fabrication and Shop Work
+ Operate machine-shop equipment to fabricate and repair components
+ Perform basic machining and welding work as needed
Safety, Compliance, and Documentation
+ Follow plant safety procedures and lockout/tagout requirements
+ Document all maintenance and repair activities for reporting and traceability
+ Support a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Minimum Requirements
+ High School Diploma or GED
+ Journeyman Machine Repairman or minimum 8 years in trade
Additional Requirements

+ Must be able to work at heights, climb ladders and use aerial lift equipment
+ Must be able to work outdoors during cold and inclement weather

· Installs, repairs, and maintains manufacturing equipment and plant facilities necessary for satisfactory operation of equipment and processes.
· Troubleshoot and repair CNC machining cells (CNC Mills, 6 axis robots, horizontal die casting presses and auxiliary equipment (mechanical, electrical/electronic controls, 6 axis robots), hydraulic/pneumatic systems, shot blasting equipment: wheel style blasters and dust collection, melting furnace and molten metal launders which includes combustion equipment, electronic controls, and conveyors.
· Can navigate and interpret ladder logic in SLC 500, PLC 5, and Control Logix software for the purpose of troubleshooting equipment faults.
· Can modify positions and diagnose problems on ABB robots. Models M94, M98, M2000, M2600, and M6700.
