General Description: This position is responsible for picking up and securing all food and grocery item donations. The employee is responsible for the distribution of food and grocery items to agencies in the 29 county service areas. Essential Functions: Pick up food from local donors as scheduled. Unload donated products to on-site feeding facilities. Provide initial donation receipt with proper signatures to donors and recipients. Weigh, classify and warehouse donated products according to acceptable warehousing practices. Provide backup donation receipt daily to Transportation Coordinator for data entry and provides mileage logs, vehicle inspection logs. Clean and audit vehicle as required. Keep current driver license, food handler certification, material handling equipment license or certification and any other permit/license required to perform duties. Job Summary: The professional regional delivery driver at River City Produce is responsible for transportation of freight to and from the RCP dock.
