Actively learn new job skills through daily coaching by an assigned Skills Trainer. With guidance from your Skills Trainer, regularly review skills checklists for assigned job duties to identify areas of strength and areas for improvement. Participate in daily team meetings to understand store team objectives and expectations. Spend up to four hours a week of program time participating in workshops and one-to-one coaching. Engage in a variety of tasks across different store departments to build a diverse skill set. Adhere to work schedule and attend all program activities. Communicate effectively with assigned Community Employment & Training Specialist and Prosperity Planner. Complete an updated resume and complete mock interview training. Complete a “Prosperity Plan” outlining your goals and plans for financial growth. Regularly provide feedback to make the most of your program experience. QUALIFICATIONS/COMPETENCIES A willingness to learn and engage in on-the-job training. Commitment to following program guidelines and workplace policies. Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and follow instructions. Open to feedback and coaching to support professional development. Willingness to rotate through different job roles and responsibilities to gain diverse experience. PHYSICAL AND ENVIRONMENTAL EXPECTATIONS Regular standing and walking in a retail environment.
