A worldwide leading sports data supplier is looking for passionate individuals to be the driving force behind the accuracy and speed of sports data at the college level. Their goal is to fill every college basketball venue this upcoming season with Scouts to capture scores and real-time game information. We are specifically seeking Scouts to cover home games for Brown University, the University of Rhode Island, and Providence College, and select Bryant University games. If you are 18 years of age or older and located near a college town within the United States, please apply below. Sports data experience is preferred but not required. Training will be provided. What You'll Do - Attend Top 17 College Basketball conferences in person and provide real-time coverage by reporting live action directly from the venue using the Capture Tool software on your mobile phone. - Accurate and timely updates on match events, scores, and other relevant details. - Conduct pre-match reporting duties, including verifying match times, formats, and any other necessary information. - Generate post-match reports that highlight any issues related to capturing scores or other observations. - Submit expenses information promptly for reimbursement. - Maintain communication regarding your availability for future event coverage. - Successful completion of comprehensive training before live game reporting (usually 5 to 10 hours), with direct mentorship from an experienced trainer. What We Expect - Passion and knowledge of Basketball with an ability to understand and follow the game dynamics. - Ability to perform effectively and remain calm under pressure, ensuring high-quality outcomes in fast-paced and high-stakes environments. - Good command of spoken English. - Access to a mobile phone with a reliable internet connection and phone battery for live reporting. - Willingness and ability to travel to different college football venues. - Must be at least 18 years of age to apply. - Prior experience in similar roles is not mandatory. Mount Pleasant Academy., the state's premiere treatment facility for children with psychiatric challenges, is looking to expand its treatment team of educators, psychologists, speech and occupational therapists, nursing and psychiatry to provide comprehensive services for our students. Together you will participate in twice monthly professional development sessions with topics including rigorous classroom instruction, classroom culture and management, data-driven instruction, and equity and inclusion. Opportunity for Growth During your Teaching Fellow year, you will have the option to apply for a lead teaching position at Excel Academy for the following school year, and as a current Excel academy employee, you will be guaranteed an interview. High-performing fellows may be asked to take on a parental leave coverage assignment. For the duration of that coverage, compensation will be increased to a full teacher salary.
