Essential Position Summary:
Reporting to the Senior Director of Innovation & Impact, the Grant Manager is responsible for managing duties pertaining to HACIA's 501(c)(3) & 501(c)(6) grants-funded portfolio, including monitoring & reporting on grant budgets, maintaining grant records, & ensuring compliance with organizational, state, & federal rules & regulations. This role plays a critical part in implementing a new grants management system, conducting grant research, & preparing, submitting, & managing grant proposals & reports that support HACIA & HACIASEF goals. A successful Grant Manager will have experience organizing, delivering, & monitoring grant budgets (especially State of Illinoisgrants), strong attention to detail, & the ability to use Excel at an intermediate to advanced level. This role requires strong writing, data analysis, program budgeting, cost projection, time management, & project management skills. The Grant Manager works well independently & within a team, exercises discretion, prioritizes multiple grant projects, & ensures financial & programmatic accuracy. Experience with GATA, CFR, & state grant management is required.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities:
This position requires completion of the following essential duties, though this list is not exhaustive & HACIA may amend this at any time at its discretion:
With oversight from the Senior Director of Innovation & Impact, manage the grants portfolio, ensuring requirements are met & budgets are spent appropriately & timely.
In collaboration with the Programs Team, support identification of grant opportunities, proposal preparation, budgeting, & submission.
In concert with the Accounting Team, monitor & track receivables & payables for multiple grants, ensuring reconciliation with the organization's operating budget.
Prepare & submit required progress reports demonstrating organizational impact, proper use of funds, & reporting accuracy.
Create budget trackers & cost projections to ensure timely & efficient grant spend-down.
Work across departments to ensure compliance & timely, accurate reporting.
Manage financial aspects of the grant lifecycle from proposal development to closeout.
Project manage implementation of a new grants management system.
Manage reporting & budget calendars to allow adequate staff response time.
Stay informed on regulatory requirements related to grant applications & reporting.
Collaborate with Accounting Team & Senior Leadership to improve grant accounting processes & ensure compliance with relevant laws & regulations.
Lead staff allocation & grant-related time & attendance reporting & provide guidance on reporting hours per grant.
Keep Executive Director & Senior Director of Innovation & Impact informed of grant expenditures & timelines.
Monitor spending & recommend strategies to avoid deficits or discrepancies.
Develop & manage internal processes to ensure programmatic costs & reporting requirements are met.
Participate in meetings, conferences, & events aligned with the organization's mission.
Create & manage a grant calendar tracking opportunities, deadlines, & requirements.
Provide oversight of accounting treatment, cost allocation, & allowable vs. unallowable costs per GATA & CFR.
Collaborate to create, disseminate, & implement grant budget-related policies & procedures.
Develop understanding of awarding agency guidelines & regulations.
Cultivate relationships with funders & grant-making organizations & resolve payment or reporting issues.
Develop & seek out new ways to improve grants administration performance.
Manage workflow & effectiveness of the grants administration process.

Education/Experience:
Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
Four to seven years of direct grant management experience; nonprofit experience preferred.
Experience managing State of Illinoisgrants, GATA, & CFR rules required.
Computer Skills:

Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite with ability to learn systems such as QuickBooks Online & Salesforce.
Accounting & Reporting Ability:

Position Summary
North Park Theological Seminary is seeking to hire a full-time coordinator to assist the project director in executing with excellence “One Covenant Community,” a five-year, large-scale collaborative project funded by the Lilly Endowment's Pathways for Tomorrow Initiative. The estimated base salary range for this job is $130,000 - $170,000. The range represents a good faith estimate of the range that Huron reasonably expects to pay for this job at the time of the job posting. The actual salary paid to an individual will vary based on multiple factors, including but not limited to specific skills or certifications, years of experience, market changes, and required travel. This job is also eligible to participate in Huron's annual incentive compensation program, which reflects Huron's pay for performance philosophy. Inclusive of annual incentive compensation opportunity, the total estimated compensation range for this job is $149,500 - $214,000. The job is also eligible to participate in Huron's benefit plans which include medical, dental and vision coverage and other wellness programs. The Grants & Strategic Partnerships Manager is an integral member of the Fund Development department and supports the Strategic Engagement team's strategies, priorities, and goals. North Park Theological Seminary is seeking to hire a full-time coordinator to assist the project director in executing with excellence "One Covenant Community," a five-year, large-scale collaborative project funded by the Lilly Endowment's Pathways for Tomorrow Initiative. This is a time-limited position, to begin January 1, 2026, and end December 31, 2030. Reports to project director. The successful candidate will be based at North Park's campus in Chicago.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Coordinate all aspects of grant meetings and gatherings, including scheduling, attendance, logistics, and evaluation
* Maintain detailed records and minutes of grant meetings, activities, and evaluation
* Maintain ongoing communication with multiple, diverse partnering organizations regarding reporting timelines and requirements, subaward management, invoicing, and assigned task completion
* Assist the Project Director with project management tasks including adherence to established timelines and budgets, reporting, evaluation, data collection, and
* Work closely and collaboratively with the Project Director and the North Park University Business Office on budget management, invoicing, and procurement in accordance with institutional sponsored project policy and process
* Manage promotional communications, including website, social media, and email marketing.

GiGi's Playhouse Inc.'s was founded in 2003 and our mission is to change the way the world views Down syndrome through national campaigns, educational programs, and by empowering individuals with Down syndrome, their families and the community. All Programs are free and are therapeutic in nature. Each program is designed to work on specific skill development, including speech and language, socialization and fine and gross motor skills. GiGi's Playhouse has 36 locations across North America and growing.
Job Description
The GrantWriter at the GiGi's Playhouse National Office is responsible for generating grant funding, with specific quarterly grant-funding goals. To do so, this individual must confidently optimize research, writing and relationship-building efforts. The grantwriter builds and maintains relationships with existing and potential grantors (especially non-governmental sources), collaborates with the broader national office team to identify funding needs, writes regional and national grants, and ensures proper documentation and follow-up on all grants received. As a member of the national office, the GrantWriter also supports the development efforts of the Playhouse network by providing tools, resources and periodic trainings and is expected to be the leading example of grant management for the network.
Qualifications
Essential Job Functions:
* Research and identify opportunities for growing grant-funding
o Research philanthropic foundations, corporate foundations and other grantors to find funding opportunities that are best matched with the needs of the organization, with a target of $10,000+.
o Collaborate with internal programs, operational and marketing teams to identify funding needs to ensure we are seeking funding for the most pressing needs of the organization.
* Write Grants
o Prepare all grant-related documents including letters of inquiry, program and project based cases for support, grant applications and budgets.
o Maintain timelines to ensure timely preparation and submission.
o Effectively convey GiGi's Playhouse value proposition, mission and priorities.
* Manage grant pipeline
o Build and maintain a clearly defined pipeline/funnel with specific strategies and weekly targets for calls, visits, RFP's and expected value of grants written.
o Ensure donor database (Salesforce) is continually up to date with contacts and grant pipeline, including various stages of the lifecycle.
* Build and maintain relationships with grantors
o Nurture relationships with current and past grantors to develop stronger commitment and ongoing campaign support.
o Maintain consistent account contact and creatively explore and introduce additional opportunities, as appropriate (i.e. volunteerism, affinity groups, sponsorships, etc.).
o Ensure all grant-related data is collected, summarized and shared with funders as needed, including mid-grant progress and year-end reports.
o Fulfill additional grant-related writing projects (e.g. special correspondence with grantors, such as thank you letters and holiday cards).
* Provide grant-related tools and resources to locations across the GiGi's Playhouse network
o Support the GiGi's Playhouse network by providing grant templates, language and resources on shared server to ensure all are using the most current and effective grant language.
o Participate in a monthly grants & fundraising call with the entire Playhouse network, leading a grand-specific call at least once a quarter
