Develop, update and monitor job progress using QMS program, including scheduling, estimating and budgeting to ensure that construction of project parallels with schedule.
Perform quantity take off(s), cost estimates and bid solicitation.
Provide research options and regulation information as required.
Purchase and coordinate the delivery of certain materials for the project(s) ensuring optimum prices, quality and conformance to specifications and budget.
Reviews and approves invoices and change orders.
Negotiate with subcontractors and vendors for specific trades ensuring that all scope is encompassed.
Review vendor and subcontractor shop drawing submittals for construction as directed by the supervisor.
Relocate to specific job sites (if required) in order to become familiar with procurement and construction practices.
Attend weekly job site meetings. Assist in the preparation of various reports to assist in the successful management of the project(s), such as: monthly red files, progress analysis/schedules, billings and status reports.
Assist in the organization and maintenance of job files to ensure continuity of work flow. Submit verbal and written reports on project status to supervisor.
Communicate effectively with customer, direct consultants and subcontractors on the project(s).
Responsible for the communication, implementation and enforcement of Gray's safety program on site.
Other duties may be assigned.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university and a minimum of three years related experience.
Must possess basic computer skills including the ability to utilize word processing, spreadsheet and e-mail applications. May also require working knowledge of scheduling applications.

The Role
We're hiring for an early Product Engineer to help Tempo's partners move money on-chain. You'll work directly with design partners to diagnose, design, build, and deliver production-ready applications and integrations. You'll build world-class products that bring together the best in wallets, APIs, explorers, and payment systems, capable of turning any customer need into running code.
This is a deeply technical, high-ownership role for someone who thrives on autonomy, collaboration, and execution. The ideal candidate combines the mindset of a product-oriented engineer with the instincts of a customer-facing developer, working across Tempo's stack to unblock integrations, ship fixes quickly, and feed insights back into Product and Engineering. The role is ideal for customer- and product-centric engineers who aspire to be founders.
Responsibilities
Scope, architect, and deliver customer applications that meet functional, security, and reliability requirements
Build and own fullstack partner applications across frontend, backend, and on-chain components for partners on Tempo
Stand up reliable backends with services, queues, and data models; integrate partner systems and third-party SDKs; optimize for performance and cost
Prototype to validate with POCs and middleware to unblock partners quickly, and graduate successful patterns to production quality
Collaborate with Product, Partnerships, and Engineering to prioritize and land high-impact improvements surfaced from the field
Customer engagements can range from month-long embedded product builds, to week-long feature deliveries, to short-term Q&A and support work
Qualifications
Experience as a fullstack software engineer or forward deployed engineer at a blockchain, fintech, or infrastructure company. Prior experience with customer-facing roles is not required, but may be beneficial.
Deep proficiency in TypeScript is a must to build performant, delightful product experiences. The ideal candidate can take customer requirements to architect and design a solution, ship into production, and debug across frontend, backend, SDK, and onchain layers.
Nice to have Wagmi, Viem, and Foundry experience and bonus for Solidity, Go, Rust, and infrastructure experience.
Strong communication and customer empathy; able to bridge technical depth with clear, actionable guidance for non-technical audiences.
Proven ability to operate independently and make product-level tradeoffs in high-context, fast-moving environments

Overview:
The Project Engineer is responsible for ensuring projects proceed safely, accurately, and smoothly. This position reports to, collaborates with, and follows the direction of the Project Manager and Superintendent.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Perform daily reports, monitor daily work activities for production and schedule tracking.
Create and manage pertinent construction documentation such as submittals, RFI's, change orders, notifications and correspondence.
Strong ability to command daily/ weekly and monthly meetings.
Strong written and verbal skills pertinent in developing and maintaining client, owner, subcontractor and vendor relationships.
Complete equipment usage reports and assign proper equipment cost codes.
Ensure proper completion of equipment return/receipt reports.
Obtain, evaluate, submit and track all submittals to owners/customers.
Prepare monthly pay requests for Project Manager approval.
Obtain material quotes from suppliers and submit purchase orders for approval.
Accurately track, maintain, report counts of materials used, and on-hand required.
Prepare, track project RFI's and submittals.
Track invoices, receipts for field purchase orders and maintain field purchase order files.
Create and file documentation (e.g., correspondence, reports) in Primavera and expedition on a daily basis to follow-up on and/or summarize project issues, agreements, communications with owners and subcontractors, etc.
Review, understand plans, and drawings for heavy civil projects.
Assist in maintaining construction schedules in P6.
Assist and manage jobsite document control.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or Construction Management.
2+ years of relevant experience as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer or QC Tech on heavy civil projects.
Primavera CPM scheduling or similar, and CAD knowledge.
Ability to work with a fast-paced team in an aggressive construction environment.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office.
Experience working on USACE projects.
Experience supervising operations teams is a plus.
Strong capabilities to multitask, work independently under pressure, and within tight deadlines.
Background check and drug testing.
Prior heavy civil site project experience such as water control, levee, concrete, and mass excavation experience are a plus.
