* Performs groundwater-sampling duties.

Skills & Requirements:
* This position requires outdoor work, in all weather conditions, on a military base.
* A High School diploma or equivalent.
* 1-3+ years of related work experience. Previous experience performing fieldwork in the environmental consulting industry is highly desired.
* Electrical experience (installations, maintenance and/or repairs) is a plus, but not required to be considered.
* Previous military experience and/or experience working on the Cherry Point Military base is a plus.
* Electrical experience, mechanical skills, and/or a CDL license is a plus.
* OSHA 40-hour HAZWOPER certification is a plus.

About the Role
This is a skilled position requiring the individual to manage and help lead the company in being proactive in environmental compliance reporting directly to the Environmental Director. We seek a detail-oriented, self-motivated employee with strong communication skills to manage environmental compliance relative to aggregates and asphalt production. The successful candidate must be capable of establishing and fostering relationships with company personnel, regulatory agencies, and consultants.
Responsibilities
Assist the Environmental Director with implementing all company environmental policies and initiatives
Assist in obtaining all local, state and federal environmental operating permits required for aggregate and/or asphalt production facilities
Ensure company environmental compliance at all production facilities through education and training of company personnel
Perform compliance reviews and inspections of company facilities to ensure compliance with all applicable environmental permits, rules and regulations
Ensure records and appropriate documentation is being maintained at each aggregate facility to ensure compliance with operating permit conditions
Administer facility programs for solid waste, wastewater, stormwater and air emissions
Coordinate and complete periodic regulatory reporting for air emissions and stormwater and process wastewater discharges
Coordinate and complete required annual reporting for facilities under EPCRA Section 312 (Tier II)
Research and apply existing and proposed local, state and federal regulations to keep management aware of how regulations will impact the company
Coordinate any emergency spill response actions if necessary to minimize impacts to the environment and complete remediation efforts
Miscellaneous duties as required or assigned
Qualifications
Bachelors of Science Degree or equivalent experience in Environmental Science or a related field
Five years of environmental compliance responsibility is preferred
Knowledge and understanding of MSHA regulations that govern aggregate facilities is preferred
Maintaining a current Visible Emissions Evaluation Certification is required within 6 months of hire
Required Skills
Excellent communication skills with the ability to communicate at all levels within the company
Willingness to work in a team environment and assist supervisors with other duties as required
Must be able to work independently without close supervision
Must have and maintain a valid driver's license
Must be willing to travel and work away from home as required
Must be willing to work nights and weekends when necessary
Windows, Word, Excel and PowerPoint experience is required
Work Environment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts, in outside weather conditions and is regularly exposed to wet, humid conditions, airborne particles, and extreme heat or cold

The Denver International Airport Field Maintenance team is looking for an Airport Field Tech I. They will perform entry to intermediate journey level construction, maintenance, and repair work on a wide variety of linear assets and federally regulated airport surfaces with a focus on asphalt, concrete, and earthwork projects.
Key responsibilities will include:
Participates in 12-hour rotating shifts for airfield snow removal duties and operates large, complex specialized industrial equipment in accordance with the nature of the work and the efficiency of airport specific multifunctional snow removal equipment.
Prepares subgrade for asphalt paving operations in a wide variety of applications to include multi-lane roadways, taxiway aprons, runway shoulders, and parking lots.
Installs, repairs, and maintains concrete for curb and gutter, full panels, spalls, and foundations both on and off the airfield.
Installs, repairs, and maintains asphalt surfaces through various methods to include patching, sealing and overlays.
Installs and maintains ADA compliant pavements.
Constructs, maintains, and repairs roadway structures to include shoulders, guardrail, fencing, and signage.
Performs temporary mobile lane closures and initiates construction zones to facilitate road work.
Performs vegetation management by eradicating and controlling invasive weed species.
Performs other related duties as assigned in all weather conditions.

Required Minimum Qualifications
Education requirement: Graduation from high school or the possession of a GED, HiSET or TASC Certificate.
Experience Requirement: One (1) year of experience in construction, asphalt, or concrete repair.
Education/Experience Equivalency: Requires a valid Commercial Driver's License (Class B with air brake endorsement) at the time of application. Required to obtain and maintain a current DOT physical certification. Required to obtain and maintain an Airport ID badge and LAR driving privileges. License/Certifications: By position, requires a valid Driver's License at the time of application.

Job Description
The EnvironmentalField Laborer (Field Tech) must be able to work in compliance on various remediation and industrial maintenance projects. They must adhere to and maintain strict compliance with corporate/office policies and procedures, established health and safety protocols, and all applicable local, state, and federal regulations.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
Execution of field work encompassed in remediation and industrial maintenance projects while under direct or indirect supervision.
Correct completion of all job-specific, employee-related MER paper work including Timesheets, Daily Work Reports, Driver's Logs and Daily Tailgate Safety Meeting Forms.
Understand and work within project's detailed scope-of-work to maintain strict compliance with contract documents, project schedules, and corporate policies and procedures.
Work safely during all phases of performing the job duties required in the field.
Ability to perform work inside areas of varying dimensions; involving squatting and crawling for possible extended periods.
Ability to follow directions; read/speak and understand English; read and understand common danger placards / labels and hazardous warning literature including site safety plans.
The ability to safely drive and perform safety checks on all vehicles for which licensed.
Project work may require out of town travel for two weeks or more
Must be able to understand and comply with company and client safety standards.
Due to the diversity of both scheduled and non-scheduled projects, physical demands, and environmental conditions vary significantly depending on the project.
Work outside year round in all types of weather.
May work in environments that are extreme in nature like environmental conditions such as heat, cold, heights, hazardous chemicals, loud noises, dangerous equipment, long hours etc.

QUALIFICATIONS

OSHA 40-HR HAZWOPER & Confined Space Entry certifications are desired but not required.

A DAY IN THE LIFE
The EnvironmentalTechnician position is responsible for performing day to day inspections of components in the LDAR Program. This position will be responsible for maintaining and care of their monitoring equipment and overall maintenance of the LDAR inventory. The following list of duties are the responsibility of the EnvironmentalTechnician.
Participate and be engaged in the safety culture
Complete comprehensive Job Safety Analysis at their jobsite
Maintain and use all required PPE
Perform and document calibration of monitoring instrument as required
Perform and document calibration-precision test and response time test as required
Perform and document field inspections accurately, safely and efficiently
Document on leak tag completely and accurately for all leaks found
Hang inventory tags and re-hang fallen inventory tags
Document and report any tag maintenance and inventory discrepancies found in the field
Document Management of Change and assist to maintain the accuracy of field inventories
Perform and document drift assessments, where applicable
Participate in training for career development, safety and maintaining required certifications
Perform any other duties assigned by client or project manager(s)

Immediately reports all work-related accidents and incidents to the site superintendent, Regional Manager and Field Safety Coordinator
Prepares Near Hit/Hazard Reports as required by the Safety Manager or specific job site

A DAY IN THE LIFE
The EnvironmentalTechnician position is responsible for performing day to day inspections of components in the LDAR Program. This position will be responsible for maintaining and care of their monitoring equipment and overall maintenance of the LDAR inventory. The following list of duties are the responsibility of the EnvironmentalTechnician.
Participate and be engaged in the safety culture
Complete comprehensive Job Safety Analysis at their jobsite
Maintain and use all required PPE
Perform and document calibration of monitoring instrument as required
Perform and document calibration-precision test and response time test as required
Perform and document field inspections accurately, safely and efficiently
Document on leak tag completely and accurately for all leaks found
Hang inventory tags and re-hang fallen inventory tags
Document and report any tag maintenance and inventory discrepancies found in the field
Document Management of Change and assist to maintain the accuracy of field inventories
Perform and document drift assessments, where applicable
Participate in training for career development, safety and maintaining required certifications
Perform any other duties assigned by client or project manager(s)

Systems:
Experience with Workday is beneficial
Experience with LDAR database software programs is beneficial
Licensures/Training Requirements:
Valid Driver's License is required
Transportation Worker Identification Credentials (TWIC) is beneficial
State/Region applicable Safety Council Training is beneficial
Refinery Safety Overview (RSO) training is beneficial
Man lift Certified is beneficial
First Aid and CPR Certified is beneficial
Safety/Drug Screening:
Capability to pass background checks and initial and random drug screening
