Valhalla, NY Shifts available: Evening 11pm-7:30pm Overnight 9pm-5:30am The Clinical Lab Technologist is responsible for performing specialized technical analyses of blood specimens leading to the diagnosis and treatment of diseases in the laboratory. Responsibility also involves ensuring the receipt, recording, grouping and labeling of specimens and the communication of test results to the attending physician. Responsibilities : Performs various types of clinical analyses in the core laboratory including Chemistry, Hematology, Urinalysis, Special Hematology, manual testing and Coagulation on blood specimens, urine, body fluid and other specimen types. Interprets test results, reviews and verifies result reports. Operates automated or specialized equipment and performs maintenance or troubleshoots as needed.
