About the Role
We are seeking a detail-oriented mixed signal model engineer to verify behavioral models written in SystemVerilog, both logic and real number. It will involve writing constraints and stimulus for CAD tools to run equivalence check against the schematic. It is required to read and understand the mixed signal circuit schematic to debug any mismatch between behavioral model and circuit transistor-level behavior. Modification to the behavioral models to make it equivalent to the mixed signal circuit is expected.

Responsibilities
Lead and deliver production-grade machine learning products from end to end to make Samsung Ads a key player in the mobile ads market.

We are hiring for an Aerodynamics Development Engineer who will be based in our Torrance, California facility. The Aerodynamics Development Engineer is part of the commercial vehicle (CV) Aerodynamics team and linked to the Wheels and Aerodynamics (W&A) Center of Excellence (COE). This position requires a solid background in turbomachine aerodynamics and mechanical engineering, either from work experience or from education. It also requires a high level of autonomy and problem-solving capability to define technical planning to resolve complex aerodynamic and mechanical problem statements.
Responsibilities include:
Design, test and qualify the next generation of compressor and turbine aerodynamics for integration in the CV portfolio, using state-of-the-art analytical (CFD/FEA) and experimental (Test Rigs) tools, and this based on the development plan established together with the CV Aerodynamics Manager.
Close collaboration with the internal engineering customer teams to design robust compressor and turbine stages that will meet the performance, durability, packaging, noise and cost constraints, and be successfully integrated into customer turbocharger product.
Support the resolution of technical problems and performance challenges by providing aerodynamics and mechanical engineering support to other internal teams (application and/or COEs).
Collaborate with other team members of the W&A organization to increase innovation while deploying continuous improvement to the team tools and processes.
Basic Qualifications:
Master's degree or higher in the field of Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 3 years' experience in turbomachinery design and optimization (compressor and/or turbine design for performance, life, cost, noise).
Proficiency with turbomachinery design tools - aerodynamic tools.
Proficiency with High fidelity CFD turbomachine simulation (Ansys, Numeca).
Proven experience in 3D design packages (CATIA, Onshape, SolidWorks), programming (Matlab or python), and experimental turbomachinery testing (rig concepts, data analysis and post-processing).
Knowledge of turbine design and expander designs (Aerodynamics and/or mechanical)
Strong drive to deliver, ability to multitask and to work in multi-cultural and cross-functional teams, with a focus on continuous improvement.
Ability to grasp technical issues quickly and relate multiple observations to each other.
Additional Desired Qualifications:
Machine learning experience (DNN, auto-optimization).
Commercial optimization software experience.
Proven Testing and analysis skills, including FEA and CFD post-processing analysis tools.
Turbomachine blade erosion (multi-phase turbomachine air+water) and HCF Turbine failure mode experience.
Pay Range
The salary range for this role is between $87,400 and $135,000.
