The **Clinical Research Nurse** is responsible for coordinating and overseeing clinical research operations for all assigned clinical trials and participates in assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating Compliant Patient Care in clinical research trials. The Clinical Research Nurse carries out the research and works under the general supervision of the principal investigator responsible for the clinical trials.
**Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required** :
+ BSN required. (Note: this applies to team members hired or transferred on or after March 31, 2024. Team members hired or transferred prior to March 31, 2024 require a minimum of an associate in Nursing or diploma of Nursing degree.)
+ Minimum of 3 years clinicalnursing experience or 1 year of clinicalnursing experience with an additional 2 years of clinical research experience.
+ Adheres to the American Nurses Association standards.
+ Strong attention to detail and customer service focus is required.
+ Excellent communication, organizational, presentation, documentation, and interpersonal skills are required.
+ Ability to work independently, or in a team, and handle multiple deadline driven tasks in a dynamic environment is essential.
+ Proficient computer skills that include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms.
+ Review and comply with all relevant HMH and Business Unit policies and procedures, and local, state, and Federal laws and regulations.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Work two 12-hour shifts from 7:00 pm Friday through 7:30 am Monday and get paid for 36 hours

The Specialty Float Pool ED RN Weekender will:
* Assess the health status of assigned patients as outlined in the Nursing Standards.
* Plan, implement and evaluate individualized care based on patient assessment and Multi-Disciplinary Plan of Care.
* Provide direct patient care or direction and supervision to other health team members to ensure proper implementation of care in accordance with the requirements of the NJ Board of Nursing, current regulatory guidelines, the ANA Code of Ethics and institutional policies and procedures.
* Teach patient/significant others about health/illness state and plan of care.
* Ensure that patient/significant others are prepared for discharge and health maintenance in the home setting.
* Ensure all procedures are performed based on established Standards of Care. Demonstrates competency in performing all procedures within own scope of practice, in accordance with the requirements of the N.J. Board of Nursing, current regulatory guidelines, and the ANA Code of Ethics as appropriate to the ages of the patients growth and development through the life cycle. The Access Triage Nurse Coord coordinates all admission related activities during their assigned shift. Performs triage assessments and assists LIP's with medical clearances. Reviews and triages all incoming patients and assists with gathering clinical information for Physician/LIP. Collaborates with LIP and assists with their admission to Carrier and helps make proper referrals when appropriate.
