What you'll do:
* Assist in providing compliance and consulting services to high-net-worth individuals, multi-generational affluent families, family offices and their private businesses and/or investment entities:
* Review complex individual, partnership, S-corp, trust, estate, gift and state tax returns
* Analyze international holdings for disclosure purposes and assist clients with planning around foreign assets and minimizing global taxation
* Work on multiple engagements that deliver proactive tax planning and strategic consulting including inbound planning, expatriation & exit tax planning, and asset structuring
* Build on technical competence by keeping up-to-date on trends, developments and technical authorities and apply them to complex situations
* Utilize your entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with clients
* Effectively manage engagements and projects to meet tax filings and internal deadlines
* Develop and expand compliance and planning tools to support tax services to international taxpayers
* Manage, supervise, train and lead the staff through counsel, guidance and coaching. Identify training opportunities and participate in the delivery of CPE sessions, especially in the international tax area
* Provide recommendations for business innovation and process improvements relative to the client's operations and objectives as well as the internal processes of the firm
* Proactively participate in practice development by contributing to thought leadership and identifying service opportunities; team with partners on proposals and business development calls
* Contribute to project revenue and profit objectives through effective management of budgeting, project execution, invoicing, and collecting functions
* Invest in professional development through active participation in training sessions and networking events both internally and externally
* Assist with recruiting activities to include campus recruiting along with referring experienced individuals to the firm and participating in the firm's Employee Referral Bonus Program
Qualifications
Successful candidates will have:
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent
* CPA, JD or EA required
* 6+ years of experience in a professional services firm providing tax services to high net worth individuals and their closely held businesses, including 1+ year's supervisory experience
* Prior experience with international tax compliance and planning
* Proven ability to analyze foreign information sources, understand unusual and/or incomplete data sets, apply judgment in reaching defensible conclusions
* Strong interest in developing a career working with global taxpayers, assisting a diverse and challenging client base
* Strong time management and project management skills
* Strong tax research and professional writing skills
* Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills, and highly developed Microsoft Suite skills (Word, Excel) required
For California, Colorado, New York and Washington: The compensation range for this role is $134,530 to $291,490. Actual compensation is influenced by a variety of factors including but not limited to skills, experience, qualifications, and geographic location.

What you'll be doing
* Preparation of the federal, state and local tax returns, and related tax payments.
* Preparation of international tax filings such as Forms 5471, GILTI, and BEAT.
* Strategic audit defense of tax returns filed.
* Preparation of tax provision calculations under ASC 740, ensuring compliance with SOX protocols and internal controls.
* Conduct tax research as well as develop and implement tax savings strategies.
* Work cross-functionally with Accounting, Finance, Treasury, and Legal teams.
* Participate in various tax planning projects including Research & Experiment Credits, Foreign Tax Credits, Cost Segregation Studies, and other special projects.
What you bring
* Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
* 4+ years of experience in corporate income tax
* Experience with Federal, State, and Local income tax returns
* Experience with Accounting for Income Taxes (ASC 740)
* Proficiency in tax return preparation and tax provision software
* Advanced experience using Excel (pivot tables, complex formulas, v-lookups)
