Job SummaryAs an Associate, Senior Medical Equipment Planner, is a demonstrated subject matter expert on all major departmental areas of the healthcare facility. Leads and participates in medical equipment planning meetings throughout project design phases with clinical users, architects, engineers, and consultants to support the selection of appropriate medical equipment and attend off-site and remote client planning meetings and conduct virtual meetings.
Collaborates on medical equipment requirements with clinical users, architects, engineers, and other consultants and develops rough order of magnitude estimated equipment costs for clinical spaces based on program information from architects.
Develops medical equipment lists and associated estimated costs within Planview projects and revises medical equipment lists and estimated costs as projects move from schematic design, design development, and construction documents through procurement and installation.
Provide value engineering recommendations without compromising patient care and understands medical equipment specifications for mechanical, electrical, data, and plumbing installation requirements while working to meet project schedule timelines.
Conducts and documents surveys and inventories of existing equipment within healthcare facilities and coordinates existing-to-reuse equipment decision making and reuse strategies.
Conducts value cost analysis and comparative equipment studies to recommend the most cost and time effective equipment/systems and identifies and presents various equipment options and advantages/disadvantages to meet clinical needs.
Schedules and coordinates vendor review meetings with client and associated design team members and gathers vendor site specific drawings and reviews submittal documents to ensure they are accurate and correct.
Coordinates with BIM team to ensure equipment placement drawings are accurate and works with internal team and design team to resolve drawing conflicts both through live discussion and Bluebeam coordination sessions to avoid costly construction delays while providing clear documentation of equipment changes to coordinators to update equipment lists.
Obtains equipment list signoffs from end users the end of design development and construction document phases and will be responsible for posting submittals to Architects FTP sites on assigned due dates subsequent to review of documents for accuracy and completeness.
Maintains a current knowledge of medical equipment devices and systems and their applications and allocations within healthcare facilities and for direct patient care and knowledge of healthcare industry practices including hospital and clinic procedures and department functions.
Qualifications:
Preferred University Degree, Diploma or Higher Education Qualification in Healthcare, Biomedical Engineering, or other Clinical Fields
8+ years proven success in medical equipment planning or related field.
Highly organized, task driven, and able to meet multiple deadlines simultaneously with strong attention to detail is required, as are excellent written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
Writes accurate and complete specifications within the Planview database and develops accurate and complete equipment cut sheets.
Produces initial clinical space equipment lists with required and appropriate clinical equipment while conducting efficient and effective medical equipment review meetings with clinical users and architects.

Responsible for providing superior member service and maintaining strong professional relationships with members virtually with transaction requests made at ITM machines. Courteously, accurately, and promptly resolves member problems by reviewing and/or researching member questions while ensuring that members and prospective members are promptly and professionally served. Completes related records, reports, daily tasks, and documentation. Expected to provide excellent member service, in accordance with expectations set forth by management while striving to meet or exceed assigned goals.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES
Assumes responsibility for the effective and professional completion of assigned duties.
Provides detailed information to members on Credit Union policies, procedures, and programs.
Provides detailed information to members on accounts, payments, interest rates, and savings programs.
Performs basic account maintenance functions.
Presents and explains Credit Union services and products to members and assists in meeting their financial needs. Orders checks, debit cards, and credit cards for members' accounts and provides assistance in managing those products.
Answers questions and solves problems for members by listening to problems, collecting data, and reporting results to the inquiring member.
Responds to inquiries and questions if possible or directs them as necessary.
Performs address changes, name changes, suffix type changes as needed.
Keeps members informed of Credit Union services and policies, including types of available accounts, interest and dividend rates, and other related services.
Maintains and projects the Credit Union's professional reputation. Maintains privacy of member account information.
Actively cross-sells Credit Union products and services.
Assumes responsibility for member satisfaction and attentiveness.
Greet and welcome members virtually in a professional manner while providing prompt, courteous, and accurate service.
Respond to members' requests, problems, and complaints and/or direct them to the appropriate person for specific information and assistance.
Receive checks and cash for deposits to accounts, verify amounts, examine checks for proper endorsement, and accurately enter in deposits.
Process withdrawals from accounts and/or cash checks for members while verifying amounts and entering information into the system accurately. Follow policies and procedures to detect fraudulent checks and place appropriate holds on negotiable instruments.
Receive and process loan payments for members.
Schedule appointments and properly address questions that require research. Expected to safeguard member information with the highest level of confidentiality.
Use appropriate grammar and punctuation in written communication.
Performs duties of area employees as required.
Complete transactions accurately and balance out properly each day. Totals at the end of shift should be matched to appropriate system totals and be in balance. Discrepancies should be properly reported and resolved.
Assumes responsibility for establishing and maintaining effective coordination and working relationships with area staff and with Management.
Assists area employees as needed.
Completes reports and records promptly and accurately.
Attends meetings as required.
Keeps Management informed of area activities and of any significant problems.
Assumes responsibility for related duties as required or assigned.

Good working relationships and coordination exist with area employees and with Management. Appropriate assistance is provided to area staff as needed. Supervisor is informed of activities.

Requirements
Education/Certification: High School Education or GED
Experience Knowledge: At least one year of related experience is preferred. Financial institution experience desired. Abilities generally can be acquired within 12 months.

HOW YOU WILL FULFILL YOUR POTENTIAL

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Bachelor's degree required
FINRA Securities Industry Essentials (SIE), Series 7 and Series 66 required within 4 months of hire
