About the Position Groome Industrial Service Group is seeking a Mechanic position requires a willingness to learn and perform a variety of trades and specialty skills in the hangar door sector. These will include, but not be limited to: Perform routine preventative maintenance on mobile equipment, including oil changes, fluid checks, and general inspections. Diagnose and repair minor mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues on trucks, forklifts, and heavy machinery. Keeps Operations Supervisor informed on the condition of the equipment. Conduct safety checks and inspections to ensure compliance with safety standards. Keeps records on the preventative maintenance and repairs performed on equipment. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts usage. Assist with managing inventory and ordering parts needed for repairs.
