**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Director of Facility Management (DFM) is responsible for optimizing the daily operations of the Facility Management department, for a facility between 200,000-500,000 square feet in size. In collaboration with the hospital executive team, Divisional Director of Facility Management and Regional Director of Engineering, the DFM is responsible for arranging maintenance schedules and projects, orchestrating personnel and contractors to complete building repairs and renovations, and maintaining inventory of infrastructure assets, maintenance tools, and supplies utilizing HCA Healthcare technology platforms. The DFM remains current and well-versed in federal and state regulatory code standards, and maintains the facility in a way that ensures the highest level of safety and compliance at all times.
**What you will do in this role:**

+ Assumes responsibility for the assignment and completion of work orders and preventative maintenance tasks using HCA Healthcare's CMMS.
+ Establishes work permitting and policy standards for facility staff and vendors to ensure compliance with federal and state work-safety guidelines (i.e. OSHA).
+ Assumes all responsibility for direct reports, including selection and hiring, scheduling, staff workload management, education and training opportunities, team building events, annual performance evaluations, conflict resolution, disciplinary action, and dismissal.
+ Identifies development opportunities or training needs of individual employees and teams. Provides coaching, feedback, and training to improve performance.
+ Mentors, trains, and develops managers and supervisors as part of HCA's Succession Planning program.
+ Executes the corporate-provided plan of succession, including development and training of the manager of facility management.
+ Manages components of regulatory compliance pertaining to Environment of Care, Life Safety Code, and Emergency Management.
+ Maintains all relevant regulatory compliance documentation utilizing HCA Healthcare Engineering technology platforms.
+ Conducts regular maintenance, inspection, and testing of Life Safety systems. Ensures Life Safety plans are up to date.
+ Creates and maintains facility Emergency Management plans. Conducts and evaluates emergency preparedness drills.
+ Mitigates risks by implementing Interim Life Safety Measures (ILSM) and Infection Control Risk Assessment (ICRA).
+ Participates in the Environment of Care committee.
+ Demonstrates an extensive knowledge of Joint Commission, CMS, OSHA, and other Federal and State regulatory agency standards.
+ Perform other duties as assigned
Education and Experience:
+ High School Diploma or GED Required
+ Bachelor's Degree Preferred
+ 3 or more years in a hospital or acute setting required
+ Hospital Incident Command System (HICS) Training Required

- Participates in and prepares feedback for meetings with vendors related to the medical record collection process.
- Some medical records collection related travel may be required.
Required Qualifications- At least 2 years of health care experience, including medical records support experience in a managed care setting, or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
- Valid and unrestricted driver's license, reliable transportation, and adequate auto insurance for job related travel requirements.
- Knowledge of Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) and National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA).
- Proficiency with data analysis tools (e.g., Excel).

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
PRN
Lab Assistant / Phlebotomist performs any three of the following non-technical functions under the supervision of the department supervisor, manager or director. They collect specimens, process specimens, submit and monitor specimens submitted to the referral laboratories and patient registration. + Demonstrates a thorough understanding of specimen collection and testing requirements as well as specimen rejection criteria
+ Demonstrates proficiency in venipunctures and/or finger sticks on pediatric, neonatal, adults and geriatric patients 3. Demonstrates proficiency in heel sticks on infants (as patient population requires)
+ Utilizes supplies appropriately
+ Follows established procedures for patient identification and specimen collection based test orders

+ Uses computer information system relative to job functions
+ Responsible for clerical duties (i.e., faxing, phones, pneumatic tube system, reports)

+ Reviews Outstanding Specimen Report (OSR) and pending specimen collections/accessioning issues; takes action as appropriate
+ Receives laboratory specimens into the laboratory information system
+ Performs registration and order entry procedures, as requested, with accuracy, and in a timely manner
+ Labels specimens and aliquots according to established protocols and according to testing ordered

+ Centrifuges and aliquots specimens appropriately, based on specimen type and tests ordered.

+ Collects chain-of-custody drug collections according to establish policy (as laboratory may require)
+ Keeps appropriate records/documentation relating to specimen problems and other problems encountered, takes corrective action as necessary to ensure validity and accuracy of testing
+ Cleans the area upon emergency spills of specimens
+ Assesses specimen requirements for referral testing and troubleshoots any specimen requirement and/or referral testing specimen or order entry issues.
+ Processes, sorts, and prepares specimens for submission to referral laboratories for testing in accordance with specimen requirements for tests ordered.
+ Regularly monitors and reviews the status of referred testing to assure that results are received and made available to physicians within established turnaround times.
