ODASA (Outpatient Drug and Alcohol Services for Adults) Asian American Recovery Services, a Program of HealthRIGHT360 in Daly City serving the North County of San Mateo. We provide regular and intensive outpatient services and historically served the Asian and Pacific Islander community but we are open to everyone in need of Substance Use Disorder services. We are a small program that is warm and welcoming and provide a safe and comfortable space for treatment.
The position will have Therapist/clinical and LPHA/assessment responsibilities. As a therapist, this person will provide individual and group therapy/counseling, collaborate with other providers both internal and external to HR360 to assist clients in completing their treatment plan goals and participate in discharge planning. In addition this individual will provide crisis management as needed and handle all necessary follow-up. As LPHA, this person will administer intake and admission assessments, create comprehensive treatment plans, sign off on treatment plans and other drug required drug Medical documentation.
Key Responsibilities
Provides weekly individual therapy and counseling to clients in the outpatient treatment facility.
Participates in case conferences, treatment planning and clinical discussions to provide holistic care.
Communicates with prescribing psychiatrists regarding psychotropic medication compliance, side effects, and follow up appointments.
Facilitates evidence-based psycho-education groups on a variety of core curriculum topics including CBT, Seeking Safety & DBT Coordinate discharge planning in collaboration with the rest of the treatment team.
Participate in the development of treatment plans and assessments and complete all assigned documentation in a timely manner.
Daily maintenance of monitoring of EMR report, to prevent and clear any compliance errors in records.
Completes Managed-care, MediCal and Drug MediCal documentation and billing requirements.
Documents individual and group services delivered in various electronic systems in accordance with guidelines established by HealthRIGHT 360 to satisfy internal and external evaluating requirements.
Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Education and Experience:
Licensed or Board Registered MFT or MFTi, LCSW or MSW.
Minimum two years of experience in dual diagnosis substance abuse treatment in an outpatient community mental health setting.
Bilingual - Tagalog, Chinese or Spanish.
Culturally competent and able to work with a diverse population specifically Asian and Pacific Islanders.
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, specifically Word Outlook and internet applications.
Knowledge of DBT, CBT, MI and trauma based treatment highly desirable.

AARS/HR 360 Youth Mental Health Clinical Therapist supports people in our community who are most impacted by mental health limitations and poverty - many of whom are affected by mental health issues and substance use. Clinical Therapist will carry a caseload and provide treatment to clients ages 6-21. The Clinical Therapist will participate in a dynamic multi-disciplinary team and support our community by providing compassionate, integrated care, at a personal and caring level.
As part of a multi-disciplinary team, the Clinical Therapist will be responsible for conducting biopsychosocial assessments, developing treatment plans and monitoring client's treatment progress. In addition, the Clinical Therapist will be documenting and maintaining accurate records in accordance with guidelines established by HealthRIGHT 360. Participation in individual and group supervision is mandatory. Conducting community outreach will also be a vital part of the role.

Education and Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Master's Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or related field with current registration with Behavioral Board of Sciences (BBS). Those who are pending BBS registered may be considered. Supervision hours available!
First Aid Certified within 30 days of employment.
CPR Certified within 30 days of employment.
Valid California driver's license.
Ideal candidate will also have extensive experience with substance use treatment including certification/registration with a Drug and Alcohol Certification program recognized by DHCS.
Knowledge of /Experience with Medi-Cal documentation standards.
Spanish speaking preferred.

Pomona TAY program - Transitional age youth is ages 16-25, referral and criteria only based. The program is 18-24 months intense stabilizing program to get on medication, stabilize, reduce/eliminate hospitalizations, and prepare for step down to a lower level of care. Clients must be referred to our program via DMH and must meet criteria to be accepted (psychosis, homelessness, history of hospitalizations, co-occurring). FSP is the highest level of care a client can receive before a psychiatric hospitalization. It is a high intensity, field based program with weekly requirements to meet with the therapist and case manager. The goal is to work towards independence and stability before graduating/stepping down.
The Clinical Therapist I/II will provide quality, culturally competent, trauma informed services to clients in FSP TAY program. Strong collaboration with FSP team, DMH and other providers.

The Clinical Therapist I is a registered professional who maintains a current registration with the BBS or CBP. The Clinical Therapist I is responsible for clinical assessment(‘s), diagnoses, treatment plan(‘s), intervention(‘s), crisis intervention(‘s), and discharge planning.
