Molina Healthcare is hiring five Pharmacy Technicians who will work 100% remotely.
Schedules will be Monday-Friday, 10:00 AM-6:30 PM Mountain Standard Time. Bilingual in any language highly preferred - Korean, Spanish, Vietnamese and Arabic are highly sought.
Qualified candidates will have above average computer skills, easily able to switch between screens, learn new software, and be highly familiar working within Excel. Must hold a valid unrestricted Pharmacy Tech Certification.
Essential Job Duties
Provides support for pharmacy Medication Therapy Management (MTM) activities. Contributes to overarching pharmacy strategy to ensure member access to medically necessary prescription drugs, optimization of medication related health care outcomes, and quality cost-effective member care.
Collaborates with pharmacists on medication adherence and provides follow-up on identified adherence barriers.
Performs outreach to members, prescribers and/or pharmacies as needed.
Participates in the development/administration of pharmacy programs designed to enhance the utilization of targeted drugs and identification of cost-saving pharmacy practices.
Identifies and reports pharmacy operational issues and resource needs to appropriate leadership.
Assists Molina member services, pharmacies, and health plan providers in resolution of member prescription claim, prior authorization, and pharmacy service access issues.
Articulates pharmacy management policies and procedures to pharmacy/health plan providers, Molina staff and others as needed.
Required Qualifications
At least 2 years pharmacy technician experience, preferably supporting Medication Therapy Management (MTM), or equivalent combination of relevant education and experience.
Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) and/or state pharmacy technician license (state specific if state required). If licensed, license must be active and unrestricted in state of practice.
Ability to establish and maintain positive and effective work relationships with coworkers, clients, members, providers and customers.
Ability to abide by Molina policies.
Ability to maintain attendance to support required quality and quantity of work.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and comply with the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA).

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Microsoft Office suite (including Excel), and applicable software program(s) proficiency.

Job Summary
The individual in this position acts under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist and provides assistance in dispensing functions, including: purchasing, inventory control of all drug classes, sterile product preparation and associated equipment maintenance, and automated dispensing cabinet equipment and inventory maintenance. Also performs technical duties to maintain pharmaceutical dispensing functions to all neonate, child, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients, including inpatients and outpatients.

* This individual's responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Accurately fill and label medication orders with correct strength, dosage form, and quantity in a timely manner. Accurately stock automated dispensing cabinets (ADCs) in a timely manner.
* Fill/refill emergency crash carts, boxes, and kits timely and accurately. Re-package and label oral medications/extemporaneous preparations and maintain appropriate records.
* Respond appropriately to requests for STAT orders, routine orders, department requests, and ADC stock out bulletins. Assure all medications are checked by a pharmacist prior to dispensing.
* Stock medications into pharmacy inventory, including sterile compounding areas. Maintain adequate medication stock levels and proper storage of medications.Prepare simple IV admixtures (excluding chemotherapy, biotherapy) accurately, consistent with IV policies and procedures

Job Summary and Qualifications
The Free Standing Emergency Department (FSED) Pharmacy and Supply Technician is responsible for managing the pharmacy and supply operations to ensure safe and effective medication and supplies availability, distribution, storage, security and control. You will process medication returns and restocking to the pharmacy. You will accurately package and prepare medications for dispensing as assigned. You will accurately transport medications and other pharmacy supplies in a timely manner to appropriate areas while maintaining proper storage and security of medications throughout the organization.
+ You will perform daily ADC routines as assigned (i.e. restocks, outdates, discrepancy resolution, loading and unloading, etc.). You will replenish ADCs, emergency cart trays and floor stock accurately and in a timely manner. You will troubleshoot ADC issues; able to re-configure ADCs and perform build and set up functions. You will under direction, adjust medication min/max PAR levels. You will provide basic technical support for automated dispensing machines and other pharmacy computer systems.
+ You will accurately perform routine manufacturing and prepackaging maintaining accurate and complete record logs. You will ensure that a pharmacist checks all work. You will perform receiving and check in of medication/supply orders. You will appropriately and timely notify the pharmacy inventory manager of products that need to be reordered, shortages, overages and damaged product. You will assist in management of drug supplies in a cost effective manner and identified opportunities to minimize waste.
+ You will identify critical issues, prioritizes workload and communicate to appropriate personnel any issues in a timely manner. You will interact in person and by phone with hospital personnel in a polite and respectful manner.
+ You will perform unit/area inspections as well as expiration date checking when scheduled and submit appropriate documentation when completed. You will prepare all work records needed for the day including USP 797 cleaning documentation, batch logs, census reports, outdate reports and unload reports. You will comply with ongoing process to monitor outdates as per department procedures.
**What qualifications you will need:**
+ High School diploma or equivalent education
+ Completion of a course sponsored by an ACPE provider which provides 40 hours of instruction and experience and meets Texas Board of Pharmacy requirements to compound sterile products. Training may be obtained through completion of a recognized course in an accredited College of Pharmacy or a course sponsored by an ACPE accredited provider.
+ Hospital experience and one year minimum sterile compounding experience preferred.
+ Current Registered Pharmacy Technician by the State Board of Pharmacy or Intern Certification with the Texas Board of Pharmacy

* You will perform daily ADC routines as assigned (i.e. restocks, outdates, discrepancy resolution, loading and unloading, etc.). You will replenish ADCs, emergency cart trays and floor stock accurately and in a timely manner. You will troubleshoot ADC issues; able to re-configure ADCs and perform build and set up functions. You will under direction, adjust medication min/max PAR levels. You will provide basic technical support for automated dispensing machines and other pharmacy computer systems.
* You will accurately perform routine manufacturing and prepackaging maintaining accurate and complete record logs. You will ensure that a pharmacist checks all work. You will perform receiving and check in of medication/supply orders. You will appropriately and timely notify the pharmacy inventory manager of products that need to be reordered, shortages, overages and damaged product. You will assist in management of drug supplies in a cost effective manner and identified opportunities to minimize waste.
* You will identify critical issues, prioritizes workload and communicate to appropriate personnel any issues in a timely manner. You will interact in person and by phone with hospital personnel in a polite and respectful manner.
* You will perform unit/area inspections as well as expiration date checking when scheduled and submit appropriate documentation when completed. You will prepare all work records needed for the day including USP 797 cleaning documentation, batch logs, census reports, outdate reports and unload reports. You will comply with ongoing process to monitor outdates as per department procedures.
What qualifications you will need:
* High School diploma or equivalent education
* Completion of a course sponsored by an ACPE provider which provides 40 hours of instruction and experience and meets Texas Board of Pharmacy requirements to compound sterile products. **Job Summary and Qualifications**

Position Summary
The Pharmacy Tech II assists in preparing, packaging, delivering and charging of medications under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist. Completes

* Assists the pharmacist with the dispensing of controlled substances to patient care areas and maintains records
* Maintain adequate medication stock levels and proper storage of medications

Job Summary and Qualifications

**Job Summary and Qualifications**
Pharmacy technicians are those who, under the supervision of a licensed pharmacist, assists in the various activities of the pharmacy department, not requiring the professional judgment of the pharmacist. Such duties include, but need not be limited to: maintaining patient records; setting up, packaging, and labeling medication doses; filling and dispensing routine orders for stock supplies of patient care areas; refilling and inventorying automated dispensing machines, maintaining inventories of medication supplies; and mixing medications with parenteral fluids. Technicians must function in strict accordance with standard, written procedures and guidelines with deviation approved by the supervising pharmacist. Organizational relationships include being directly responsible to the Pharmacist, Operations Coordinator, and Director of Pharmacy.

1. Accurately fills medication orders in the pharmacy. Processes medication returns and restocking to the pharmacy. Accurately packages and prepares medications for dispensing as assigned. Accurately transports medications and other pharmacy supplies in a timely manner to appropriate areas while maintaining proper storage and security of medications throughout the organization. .
2. Performs daily ADC routines as assigned (i.e. restocks, outdates, discrepancy resolution, loading and unloading, etc.) Replenishes ADCs, emergency cart trays and floor stock accurately and in a timely manner. Provides basic technical support for automated dispensing machines and other pharmacy computer systems. Performs all necessary functions on the pharmacy computer system which may include: patient profile inquiry, debit/credit medications, pharmacy reports/fill lists, print labels, and billing inquiry.
3. Accurately performs routine manufacturing and prepackaging maintaining accurate and complete record logs. Ensures that a pharmacist checks all work. Performs receiving and check in of medication/supply orders. Appropriately and timely notifies the pharmacy inventory manager of products that need to be reordered, shortages, and overages and damaged product. Assists in management of drug supplies in a cost effective manner and identified opportunities to minimize waste. Assists the purchasing agent/department by ensuring that all expired and recalled medications are removed from inventory and stored in the appropriate area. Restocks shelves in respective areas and orders via the pharmacy want book.
4. Identifies critical issues, prioritizes workload and communicates to appropriate personnel any issues in a timely manner. Interacts in person and by phone with hospital personnel in a polite and respectful manner.
5. Performs unit/area inspections as well as expiration date checking when scheduled and submits appropriate documentation when completed. Prepares all work records needed for the day including prepacking batch logs, census reports, outdate reports and unload reports.
6. Complies with ongoing processes to monitor outdates as per department procedures.
