Our Café Made to Order Sandwich Maker preps and prepares a range of culinary delights from eclectic to classic that include vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free and meat-loving options. This is a guest-facing role that includes counter service and "made-to-order" responsibilities. These items are part of our sandwich and salad stations (signature options and made-to-order) as well as our “grab and go” case to provide delicious food for our guests to enjoy in our café or at home. The ideal candidate will: Select each ingredient with care and assemble each sandwich and salad thoughtfully, neatly and swiftly Go above and beyond to accommodate guest requests Respect the guest's need for speedy and accurate service Take great pride in the salad bar and soup station, making sure they are abundant, spotless, labeled with correct signage and are full of only the freshest ingredients Maintain prep lists, pars and ingredients for both the self serve salad bar and made to order sandwich station Be a team player and always communicate their needs to the Chef, Managers, and Culinary Director Bring a beaming and bright attitude to the kitchen on a daily basis and infuse that energy into the food and into the HL community Requirements Hours: Part-time and full-time hours available.
