    Job Description Heartland is seeking a Vice President of Sales to lead, coach, and scale our sales organization through its next phase of growth. Location is flexible, with a strong preference given to candidates local to our corporate office to support in-person collaboration, coaching, and leadership presence. Lead With Industry Credibility Bring hands-on leadership experience in technology sales within supply chain, logistics, distribution, manufacturing, mobility, or AIDC environments. Serve as a visible, credible leader with customers, partners, and internal teams. Participate directly in executive-level customer meetings and strategic sales pursuits. 2. Build, Coach & Mentor the Sales Organization Recruit, develop, and retain high-performing sales leaders and sellers. Act as a coach and mentor, fostering a team culture where sellers feel supported-always knowing you've "got their back"-while helping them grow and succeed. Align sales strategy with delivery capabilities and customer success outcomes. Help evolve Heartland's go-to-market strategy as the business scales. 6. Advance Market Strategy and Innovation Anticipate market shifts and emerging opportunities ahead of competitors. Conduct ongoing competitive analysis to understand position, strengths, and gaps in the market. Maintain strong awareness of product innovation and competitive dynamics. Use customer insights to shape new offerings, strategies, and growth initiatives. What We're Looking For 10+ years of technology sales leadership experience preferred, with direct experience selling technology, software and services to supply chain operations or frontline technology environments. Proven ability to coach and operationalize an Ideal Client Profile (ICP) mindset, enabling teams to prospect by persona, sell to outcomes, and articulate value beyond products or price. Proven success building, coaching, and scaling sales organizations. A hands-on leader who enjoys being in front of customers and supporting sellers. Success relies on managing several priorities, including being the main point of contact for active TPP accounts. Approximately 75% of a Territory Manager's time should be focused on recruiting new business. This will consist of a combination of cold calls, following up on company generated leads, independently sourcing leads, establishing a positive LinkedIn presence, prospect site visits, direct mail, communicating with vendor partners and scheduling meetings with Key Decision Makers within active accounts for referrals. Approximately 25% of the Territory Manager's time will be spent on account management, helping to support Active accounts. Chemo Mouthpiece InfuSystem is the sole US Distributor for Chemo Mouthpiece. An intra-oral, single patient multi-use cryotherapy medical device that vasoconstricts the blood vessels. Vasoconstriction decreases the flow of chemotherapy in the oral cavity to cool the oral mucosa to reduce the incidence and severity of chemotherapy induced oral mucositis in adult population. Call points are Chemo Clinical Staff and Oncology Pharmacy. Once trained the Territory Manager will prospect, submit quotes, close new business, place orders, lead clinical in-services and support product specific questions as needed. IN THIS ROLE, THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL: Develop and execute a Territory Plan with responsibility for growth of territory; meets all sales quotas. Conducts 5 business reviews per month; within key and strategic accounts and prospects. Develop and maintain relationships with customers, staying connected with day-to-day contacts, supervisors and other key influences and decision makers at customer locations. Attend tradeshows, sales meetings, and education seminars as needed. Has reliable internet access. Return messages from customers same day. Complete accreditation and other exams as required. Update HubSpot Sales CRM daily with new business prospecting efforts. SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: This job has no supervisory responsibilities. THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL HAVE THE FOLLOWING QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor's degree (B. Responsibilities Create, onboard and oversee the sales & marketing team Using industry-standards, carry out strategic business planning Create new content; oversee contracts; SEO and other marketing oversight Maintain partnerships; create new partnerships Ensure the sales team meets all quotas Oversee a successful sales cycle from start to finish Data systems and company operations oversight Answer to the effectiveness of collected data; provide reports using analytics Provide brand standard, care and operations oversight Develop, hire and manage a successful sales and marketing team Execute strategic business plans while adopting industry-standard practices to excel in a highly competitive environment Manage marketing contract, content development, SEO and other marketing efforts Generate new opportunities and cultivate/manage existing partnerships Meet and exceed all quarterly and annual sales quotas for the entire sales team Own the sales cycle from lead generation to closure Oversee the creation and implementation of the organization's operations and systems that collect data Measure data effectiveness and provide analytical insights to drive placements, sales, and employer ROI Oversee standard of brand, care and operations Required Skills At least five years experience in sales or business development; healthcare, sales or franchise experience a plus Able to show success in exceeding sales goals Four-year business, marketing or healthcare degree (master's degree a plus) Proven success in creating streams of revenue and sales teams that achieve results Willingness to take on additional responsibilities during expansion periods Experience executing marketing strategy plans from start to finish Innovative, flexible, organized, high level of responsibility Excellent communicator; takes initiative, strong attention to detail 5 years of sales or business development experience, preferably in healthcare, sales, franchise or innovation industries Proven track record of exceeding sales goals Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or Healthcare - master's preferred Demonstrated success in building successful sales teams and new revenue streams Superior communication skills, both written and oral Innovative mindset and flexibility Willingness to perform a myriad of duties outside of scope during periods of growth Eagerness and experience taking strategy from idea to reality, pairing high-level thinking with execution Strong organizational skills, detail-oriented, self-starter and responsibility required
