What You'll Do:
Deliver high-quality, evidence-based ABA services to children with autism
Manageable Caseload: Up to 10 clients, completing 28 billable hours in a 40-hour week (note: billable hours are not tied to pay)
Work with children ages 2-18, most under age 6
Supervise and develop up to 5 RBTs
Conduct assessments, write individualized treatment plans, and monitor client progress
Collaborate with Clinical Directors, fellow BCBAs, and Regional Directors of Quality to troubleshoot cases and uphold best practices
Maintain ethical documentation and compliance with BACB and state guidelines

SUMMARY: We are seeking a Conflicts and Business Intake Compliance Counsel. The ideal candidate will act as counsel to the law firm in identifying and resolving actual and potential conflicts of interest arising out of new business intake and the hiring of lawyers and staff joining the firm, as well as assisting with the onboarding of clients, matters, lawyers and staff. Core responsibilities include counseling lawyers and staff in resolving actual and potential conflicts and providing legal and operational support for the Office of General Counsel in its implementation of risk management strategies relating to new business intake, legal hiring, compliance and other legal matters involving the firm. Members of the Office of General Counsel work as an integrated team with many other departments of the firm, including management, and they are seen as valued resources and trusted advisors to the partners, associates and staff of the firm.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Perform initial review of conflicts reports requested by firm attorneys, identify actual and potential conflicts of interest and coordinate resolution of conflicts among all involved parties.
Advise the firm and its attorneys regarding the appropriate form and terms of engagement letters for use in documenting new engagements and counseling and assisting attorneys on drafting such letters as needed.
Approve engagement letter drafts prior to distribution to clients and assist with drafting waivers for inclusion in engagement letters or separate letters as required.
Monitor compliance with new business intake instructions and requirements, such as the completion and execution of appropriate engagement letters and any necessary waivers, implementation of ethical screens where necessary and assessment of intake risk by the firm.
Act as a resource in assisting firm attorneys in understanding conflicts of interest and managing conflicts and new business intake in an appropriate manner, including participation in firm presentations and training programs as needed.
Review conflicts reports for incoming lateral lawyers, new lawyers and legal support staff and take necessary action to clear actual and potential conflicts of interest, including interfacing with candidates where necessary to obtain further information about their work.
OTHER DUTIES ASSIGNED:
Provide legal advice to the firm and its personnel regarding various professional responsibility and risk management matters as required by the Office of General Counsel.
Tasks may include development and updating of firm policies and forms for internal use; reviewing and providing legal advice regarding client Outside Counsel Guidelines and vendor contracts; maintaining and updating terms of engagement letters, waiver letters and related documents based on changes in the law and firm practice; assisting in development of strategies and methodologies for identifying, managing, and resolving conflicts of interest and assessing client and matter fit; and developing and/or conducting internal conflicts training for the firm's lawyers and staff.
EXTENT OF CONTACT:
This position requires a high degree of contact with:
the firm's General Counsel and Assistant General Counsels;
the firm's Director of Office Services, Business Intake Risk and Compliance Director, Business Intake Manager, Conflicts Specialists and other business intake staff;
firm partners, associates and staff, including executive management.
This position requires limited contact with individuals outside of the firm.
WORKING CONDITIONS AND ENVIRONMENT: (necessary travel, unusual work hours, unusual environmental conditions, etc.)
Position is full-time, requiring a 5-day work week and standard hours as outlined in the firm policy manual, with additional hours as required when necessary to meet deadlines.
Limited domestic travel, possibly involving multiple-day trips requiring overnight stays, may be required in order to attend training seminars/CLE programs, firm meetings and the like.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
Adheres to highest ethical standards for behavior.
Strong organizational and planning skills, including the ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks and complete them under time constraints.
Strong interpersonal skills necessary to permit effective communication in person, by e-mail and telephone with a diverse group of lawyers and staff.
Ability to recognize actual and potential conflicts of interest under applicable professional standards, other issues that could be viewed as conflicts of interest from an ethical and/or business perspective, and effectively discussing and resolving such issues with the lawyers and staff involved.
Prior experience as a conflicts attorney, or experience in legal ethics, conflicts analysis and/or review, representation of law firms and the like.
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
J.D. degree.
Member of the State Bar in good standing in Duane Morris office where candidate will sit.
Minimum 4 years' experience as a practicing lawyer in a business law firm environment and/or prior experience as a conflicts attorney in a law firm setting.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide assessment, program design, monitoring and supervision
Facilitate services to meet the individualized needs of clients by working in a cross-collaborative effort with multiple service entities
Flexibility to travel into the home/community settings to conduct assessments
Act as clinical leader and develop a treatment plan
Will provide direct supervision to staff, monitor staff performance, provide direct clinical feedback and determine staff development needs

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Provide assessment, program design, monitoring and supervision.
Facilitate services to meet the individualized needs of clients by working in a cross-collaborative effort with multiple service entities.
Act as clinical leader and develop a treatment plan at ITMs.
Will provide direct supervision to staff, monitor staff performance, provide direct clinical feedback and determine staff development needs.
Monitor and revise plans and packets to ensure compliance with, but not limited to State, Federal, and local regulations.
Review clinical notes to monitor the on-going progress of clients.
Conduct service intakes for clients to gain a clinical understanding of their educational, behavioral, and medical needs to assist in identifying the appropriate staff and eligibility for services.
Coordinate resources to enhance the well-being of the child and overall family functioning.
Assist in problem solving when conflicts arise over behavioral paradigms in other involved systems.
Troubleshoot with the team when behavior interventions are seen as ineffective for the child or family.
Develop a 24-hour crisis plan.
Monitor billing system for accuracy to ensure payment from school districts, Medicaid, and/or private insurers for services provided to clients.
Collaborate with the mobile therapist and/or behavior health technicians to monitor implementation and effectiveness of treatment plans.
Travel to and from clients' locations (i.e., home, school, community settings) to perform duties.

Services are provide to children, youth, and young adults across all settings (at the home, school, and community settings) in order to both help them reduce and/or replace problem behaviors with more positive, socially appropriate behaviors, with the highest priority placed on family engagement throughout the process.
Behavioral Consultant / Mobile Therapist Summary:
The Behavioral Consultant / Mobile Therapist provides behavioral intervention consultation services to the treatment team) if recommended by the interagency team and listed on the treatment plan) for a child or adolescent with a serious emotional disturbance who may need special behavioral management protocols. These services are designated to be consultative in nature, rather that direct service to the child or family.
These services are not designed to replace any behavioral services listed on a childs IEP that a school district may already be providing. If appropriate services are already in place in the school and the child needs an additional plan for home and community, the behavioral specialist consultant should coordinate efforts with the school personnel so that the plans compliment each other.
COMHAR's IBHS Department currently hiring for Per Diem Behavioral Consultants and/or Mobile Therapists.
Duties and Essential functions Behavioral Consultant / Mobile Therapist :
Behavioral Consultant / Mobile Therapist work in collaboration with other members of the treatment team in order to design and direct the implementation of a behavioral modification intervention plan which is individualized to each child or adolescent and to family needs as well as considering the context of the educational, community or home setting.
Complete and Conducts Client Assessments within 15 days of initiation of Services
Observation of the child in the school, community or home setting as part of the initial assessment in preparation for designing the intervention plan.
Development of the intervention plan and instruction to the members of the treatment team (including the teacher, teacher aides', other school personnel, family, Behavioral Health Technician, or other individuals providing direct service or supports to the child) in their roles and responsibilities in implementing the plan.
Collaboration with the interagency team so that the school, home and community behavioral plans compliment each other.
Consultation to the treatment team when problems arise in the implementation of the plan.
Regular/documented monthly peer reviews with a licensed psychologist.
Revision of the intervention plan as needed, using the same methods as were used in the initial development.
Adherence to all paperwork guidelines for timelines, format and content as established by the unit guided always by the incorporation and firm commitment to CASSP principles.

Have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in providing mental health direct services to children, youth or young adults and a graduate degree in psychology, social work, education, or counseling. or
Completed a clinical or mental health direct service practicum and have a graduate degree in psychology, social work, education, counseling or a related field.
Individuals who provide ABA services through behavior consultation-ABA services shall meet one of the following:
A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services under the supervision of a professional with a certification as a BCBA or other graduate-level certification in behavior analysis and a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA
Be licensed in this Commonwealth as a psychologist and have a minimum of 1 year of full-time experience providing ABA services and a minimum of 40 hours of training related to ABA approved

RBT Essential Functions
Provides direct support to student(s) in 1:1 or group setting in accordance with IEP/PBSP and under the supervision of BCBA.
Follows the behavior reduction and behavior skill acquisition protocols.
Collects, records, and maintains data based on students' behavior.
Communicates with students' educational team.
Assists BCBA/BSC with FBA's and skill acquisition.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent AND completed a 40-hour training covering the RBT task list as evidenced by BCBA or BCaBA; AND
Active certification through the BACB, AND
At least 1 year of experience providing behavior technician services; preferred 2 years, AND
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Excellent organizational skills
Able to think strategically and work under pressure
Active PA driver's license, clearances within 1 year of hire (PA Criminal Record, PA Child Abuse History, FBI Fingerprinting through the Dept. of Education, TB).
