Unit Overview: H5 patients - Advanced heart failure, VADS (ventricular assist device), arrythmias, status post procedure and any cardiac diagnosis. This department is a great department to help a nurse with a future plan of working in ICU but not quite ready to go into an ICU setting. In this department you will get to work with progressive drips. EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED: BSN preferred. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans. Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
