Overview As our Vice President for Tax, you will lead the tax function for HireRight and report to the Vice President, Controller. You will be responsible for all global direct and indirect tax reporting and compliance along with tax planning, risk management and tax accounting. You will lead an international team of tax professionals which includes the management of our outsourced vendor partners. You will also be responsible for liaising with our leadership team as well as our third-party advisors. Additionally, you will foster a culture of excellence and collaboration within our tax team. Our VP, Global Tax should have proven experience with domestic, foreign, state and local corporate income tax planning, compliance and audits, indirect tax matters including state and local sales and use tax, VAT/GST, transfer pricing, property tax, and corporate registrations and licenses. Additionally, you will ensure that tax matters are accounted for according to US GAAP and ASC 740. This role is located in our Nashville, TN office and adheres to a hybrid schedule (3 days per week).
