Minimum Qualifications 1+ years' experience in environmental analysis, research, writing and/or related fieldwork. Proficiency in GIS tools and mapping for environmental constraints analysis. Knowledge of environmental impact assessment tools, including geographic information systems (GIS), and related software applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information to a variety of audiences. Familiarity with California-specific environmental laws and regulations, including air quality, water resources, and land use regulations. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. Participation in professional organizations, such as Association of Environmental Professionals (AEP), American Planning Association (APA or other relevant organizations. Compensation: $27-$33 hourly* *Final agreed-upon compensation will be based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, an individual's related experience, education, certifications, skills, and work location. Working Conditions Environment This job operates in a remote or office-based environment and this role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, printers, etc. This job requires occasional project site visits, based outdoors which can include excessive noise, uneven walking surfaces, extreme weather, and moving vehicles and equipment.
