The Material Handler assists in the day to day operations of receiving, shipping and inventory data entry for Dean/Fluor and government procured materials and equipment. The material handler will work under direct supervision of the Warehouse Supervisor. This position will support a government warehouse located in Bluffdale, UT. The Material Handler is responsible for utilizing knowledge of Operations, Maintenance, and Repair industry tools and materials to perform logistics tasks such as receiving, inventorying, storing, and issuing materials, equipment, and other items from the Dean/Fluor warehouse and from suppliers. The Material Handler has a solid understanding of the Dean/Fluor Logistics processes and procedures, implements attention to detail in following logistics procedures and record-keeping, inventories and places incoming orders on shelves, picks materials for internal distribution and use, monitors inventory and communicates shortages, and provides feedback for process improvement. Job Requirements: 1. High school diploma or GED and proven experience as Material Handler, Warehouse Associate, or similar position with one (1) to three (3) years of experience in logistics field. 2. Warehouse Material Handlers must successfully complete all safety training courses as provided by the Company. 3. Some physical strength is required since you may often need to lift packages by hand. Located in Delta, Utah, the Advanced Clean Energy Storage 1 (ACES 1) facility will be a large renewable hydrogen production and storage facility. Capable of decarbonizing the western United States, the site will enable utility and industrial scale green hydrogen production from renewable energy sources and store the hydrogen in underground salt dome caverns to provide a huge reservoir of renewable fuel for power generation. The Advanced Clean Energy Storage 1 (ACES 1) will initially be designed to convert over 220 MW of renewable energy to 100 metric tonnes per day of green hydrogen, which will then be stored in two massive salt caverns capable upon start up of storing more than 300 GWh of dispatchable clean energy. Opportunity Summary The Inventory Procurement / Warehouse Specialist is central to the efficient management of procurement and inventory control at the ACES hub. This role involves reviewing purchase requisitions, vendor data, and inventory maintenance using Maximo. We are looking for a FORKLIFT OPERATOR to join our Ogden, UT plant. As a forklift operator with Contech you will contribute to America's essential infrastructure including drainage systems, pipe, bridges and structures, and stormwater management. About the Role Responsibilities: Complete pre- and post-shift daily audits and maintain the forklift's daily safety checklist. Operate forklift to build loads by assembling product into bundles and complete detailed paperwork for each load. Assist with material handling to ensure raw materials and finished goods are stored in the proper location. Prepare lumber for dunnage use, operate saws and nail guns with precision. Regularly fuel and maintain forklift and ensure it is parked in designated areas at the end of each day. Record and turn in production records as required. Keep yard area in a neat and orderly condition by organizing strapping, boards, stringers, and more. About You We Require: Prior manufacturing, production, or distribution experience. Certification on Forklift Operation preferred. Ability to operate forklift in accordance with required guidelines. Ability to work outdoors or in open air environment.
