The opportunity for professional growth working at The Haven at Ramapo Ridge, New Jersey's first and only inpatient trauma- informed care program and which has received the Clinical Excellence in Behavioral Health award from the New Jersey Hospital Association (NJHA). Clinical supervision provided on site to those seeking hours toward LCSW licensure. Competencies: Conducts individual, group and family psychotherapeutic counseling and may function as primary therapist in identified cases. Completes psychosocial assessments including obtaining information for diagnosis and treatment as required by regulatory and accrediting agency requirements. Serves as liaison to patients and families and available community partners and resources. Maintains accurate, timely documentation as a basis for review by regulatory bodies, accrediting agencies and the interdisciplinary treatment team. Records planned and completed visits, phone calls and meetings in NDoc and other required media in a timely manner. Provides social work counseling to patient and family, with appropriate follow-up visit or phone call to ensure goals are met. Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings and/or individualized conferences. Adheres to employment policies as described in the employee handbook; maintains and respects confidentiality; adheres to all HIPAA regulations. Participates in all required in service education programs and meetings. Demonstrates compliance with the dress code policy by appearing well groomed, wearing ID badge while on duty and maintaining a professional appearance. Performs other duties as assigned.
